Perched atop La Siesta Premium Hang Be, the Lighthouse Sky Bar is a stunning rooftop venue that marries innovative design with panoramic vistas. Styled to resemble a sleek vessel moored atop the building, it cleverly plays into the maritime heritage of Hang Be street, once a bustling hub of river trade . Spread across the 10th and 11th terrace levels, the bar’s “bow” overlooks the vibrant streets below, while the “stern” extends toward the tranquil Red River—framed by elegant glass, metal, and wood architecture in a chic monochrome palette .
A standout feature is the dramatic 6-meter red-and-white lighthouse, whose beacon flashes night after night—instantly becoming an iconic addition to Hanoi’s skyline . The setting is softened with verdant greenery and plush, ship-shaped seating clusters, creating inviting nooks for relaxation and socializing .
The ambiance is further elevated by soothing chill-out music, cultivating a trendy yet understated vibe ideal for both quiet evenings and lively gatherings . As daylight fades, the bar transforms into a romantic perch for sunset cocktails with sweeping views over Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter’s rooftops . With thoughtful service—often offering cozy touches like blankets—and a menu of creative cocktails paired with tasty snacks, Lighthouse Sky Bar offers an unforgettable rooftop experience in the heart of Hanoi .

Read moreWe visited this spectacular rooftop bar on 2 different days during our stay in Hanoi. That's how good we think it is. The bar is located on the rooftop of La Siesta Premium Hang Be Hotel. It’s definitely worth a visit when the weather is great.
We visited in late August on a 30º day but felt comfortable with the natural breezes. It can get a little warm if you are facing the sun, but the rooftop spans from one side to another, so you get to move around if you wish to. You also get to pick from various seating arrangements such as bar seating along the glass balustrade or sofa lounge seating. The rooftop offers a 360º view of the old quarter which is perfect for taking photos.
We tried their Manhattan, Margarita, Long Island, and Pina Colada. The drinks were all full-strength and very tasty. We found the Manhattan was particularly strong which we loved. We also ordered a serving of French fries. It was fresh and crispy but slightly pricy for Hanoi (120,000 VND).
Happy hour is from 5 pm - 6:30 pm with a buy 1 get 1 free cocktail offer. Perfect for a pre-dinner drink session to watch the sunset. Staff services were speedy and professional. There’s only 1 elevator at the 10-storey hotel which can cause some wait...

From the moment we exited the elevator on the 10th floor, we were greeted with warm smiles by all the welcome staff. The drinks were all top-shelf—especially the mojitos, which kick like a mule 😌.
The views are also superb. We’ve just arrived in Hanoi, so I’m not too familiar with the landmarks or geography, but from here you can see the night market, bridges crossing the river, and a nearby lake.
Of course, no rooftop bar is complete without a good playlist, and this one didn’t disappoint. A mix of EDM and house music is all you need to get into a party vibe—and this comes from a guy who usually listens to heavy metal 🤘🏻🎸.
No review would be complete without acknowledging the people who make the magic happen, and Kelvin is someone who truly deserves a shout-out. Not only did he provide exceptional service, but he also gave us loads of recommendations for things to do around Hanoi. Service like his is exactly what will bring us back for a sundowner every day.
10/10—highly recommend to anyone looking for...
