Epicure — Restaurant in Yerevan

The Greek salad, here is a signature dish that most restaurants get wrong. Epicure was able to bring about a new creation. The cheese was magnificent. They didn't hold back on it. The texture and taste melted with the spices and olive oils. By itself and maybe a piece of bread it could really hold you over well.

The dessert on the other hand left me wanting. The (brownie) as it's called wasn't what I was expecting. If you're looking for the light delicacy and texture of a brownie, this is not it. Not that I don't appreciate chocolate but when stating brownie, you expect the light flavor of it and not the overpowering taste of batter mixed with something else.

The service itself is quaint, the music uplifting. For the type of establishment the food is adequately pleasing. Maybe next time, I'll try an other dish. But the brownie I'll skip.

Engaging with Miklosh was a highlight; she not only crafted unique cocktails but also shared fascinating insights about each concoction. Her recommendations, especially those featuring the local gem Ararat Honey brandy, were a delightful journey for the taste buds. The Strudel for dessert was the perfect sweet finale.

Nice, almost Ok. However, the fresh avocado salad with A LOT of pesto in it was difficult to digest... it was presented for European salad. Interestingly... I have been to 46 European countries and haven't tried such salad with pesto before. I think the worst was the service we got by one of the waiters. He was playing a bit too smart and when I was asking questions about the items on the menu he was replying with questions. However, he was the only one to be that rude. The rest of the staff were polite. Expensive place compared to other nice restaurants in the city. Extremely low temperature of the A/C and absolutely no kids friendly even at 12PM.
