Lebanon Shawarma — Restaurant in Yerevan

Fishy experience

I decided to have my lunch at Lebanon Shawarma in Yerevan Mall after studying their menu, and ordered one Chicken Maria and one Olivia sandwich. On my question how I would get my order the cashier lady said I would be called. I took my order invoice and sat at the table across their pavilion.

A quarter of hour later I saw a customer approached their stand and picked his order. I remembered this customer, he was in a business suit and had placed his order after me, a Maria Sandwich. I approached the young man who was preparing the orders and running the oven, and asked whether my order was ready. He said to check back in a couple of minutes. On my remark the customer who just picked his order had placed his order after mine had been placed he just shrugged his shoulders. I returned to my table.

Five minutes later my order was ready. I tried first a bite from the Olivia sandwich and was unpleasantly surprised at a fishy taste. I then tried the Chicken Maria, it tasted like fish too, only stronger, with an unpleasant mushy consistency. I managed to have most of the Olivia sandwich (which was not cut well by the way) and threw the remaining Chicken Maria into the garbage can.

Unresponsive customer service.

Serving old food!

First in the restaurant they served very old and over-fried chicken that was just too salty to mask the bad taste.

On second occasion we had the unfortunate experience to order food to our house and not only the order was late because of the restaurant as the delivery service informed me, but also they served me an expired!!! salad that was already fermenting in the plastic. When i tried to get in contact with them and leave a feedback, the restaurant's number was never picked up.

Nor me neither the delivery service were able to get in touch with the restaurant to claim the money for the poison that they...

i ate mostly in this fast food all week in Yerevan. 😍 What I liked The choice on the menu, the vegetarian dishes, the side dishes (humus, tabuleh) and absolutely falafel ❤️❤️❤️!! Cashiers are nice, she talks in English and the price is really good for the city average. Excellent price-quality. 🤢 What I didn't like General disorganization in destroying orders, practically the kitchen boys shout the name of the dish and it's not always clear who it refers to. terrible...
