La Cucina — Restaurant in Yerevan

Decent restaurant serving Italian-ish food. I wouldn’t call it authentic necessarily (the carbonara was made with cream and smoked ham for example) but if you want a simple? hearty bowl of pasta, it’s a good place to go. The focaccia starter breads were decent but more like thin crispy flatbreads/pizza base rather than focaccia. Skip the olive tapenade, rather tasteless and made with beans and black olives. This is the best meal I have had in my 5 weeks in Yerevan. It’s amazing. I had a salad and a pasta, both unbelievably delicious. Everything was so perfect. I am actually sad that I didn’t find this place earlier. The wine is also great. I really am thinking of eating here everyday the rest of my time in Yerevan. Oh and the people are very nice and speak and understand English which is really rare! I still haven’t left the pace but is so good that I really wanted to leave...
