Hibiscus Bar & Terrace — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had a restaurant. I ordered the spatchcock, it came after 45 minutes and I had to ask twice where my food was and they said spatchcock takes a long time to cook which I wasn’t told at time of ordering. Once it came I cut into it raw chicken juice spilled out and the inside was raw. The waitress tried to tell me it was a vein lol. Anyways she kindly apologised and I then ordered the chicken sliders. Another 40 minutes went by and I never ended up receiving my food. I paid for my drink and left. They weren’t even aware that I didn’t receive my sliders. No follow up whatsoever but the bar man was nice to us and compensated my friends meal and my chips...

Went here last Sunday with my wife. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady and we took a seat out near the pool next to the glass fence. We order a couple drinks and about 20mins went past. Some other people arrived about 10mins after us and received their drinks.

I went up to the bar and asked about the drinks and was told they are coming. Waited a total of 35 mins for a beer and a wine (with around 8 customers in the venue) but they never came so we left and went to another venue downstairs in the mall and we were served in about 2mins.

The place looks lovely but if you can't get served then I can only...

Conveniently located in the city above the Queen Street Mall this roof top bar is a great place for a pre or post dinner drinks. Have a wander around the city sites then settle down by the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy a cocktail, craft beer or a snack. There is a lovely view across the mall featuring the old style architecture that is rarely given a look when shopping. Staff are pleasant and have gone the extra mile when the bar is not busy. The entrance maybe hard to find at first but it is worth the extra awareness to get up there and relax....
