Oh dear! I have never left a one star review before. What can I say but this food wasn't dire, it was worse than that!

The food we got was something you would offer to dedicated hunger strikers to keep them on task.

We paid $71 for 3 dishes, those were ... Mongolian beef stewed in fat and a few inspid capsicum and onion slices. The beef was slimy and looked like the bucket under a table in a field trauma centre only cooked, and was without a shadow of a doubt the most disgusting ingredient I've eaten so far this year.

We then move onto fried green beans with pork. This dish was more like microwaved beans with an unidentified mince, zero flavour, soft and squisy and greasy enough to lubricate a fleet of taxis.

Slimy and certainly no reason to leave the comfort of your recliner, where you can eat your own snot from the comfort of your own home with a lot more fun.

And then the rice! This should be first in a Jackass "Will they eat it" contest! This is payback for all the drunken, vomitious episodes that football fans around the world have visited upon Chinese restaurants.

I don't...

Usually I give very good reviews however I can't about this restaurant. I week previously I went there with a friend and his partner, they were good customers and warmly greeted. Whe I went there with a friend to try special lunch menu it was totally different. We sat down, and eventually the same woman who had taken the preciously gave us the menus. We ordered 2 dishes intending to share. She immediately returned the credit card machine, stood there saying nothing. I gathered I had to pay in advance, like at McDonald's. I did and she left without a word. Next she dumped the food on the table. I tried to ask for 2 plates however she ignored the request. I tried politely calling m mo response response. Another customer got up and asked. I thought the dishes on the lunch special were not of the quality I had eaten previously and the whole experience was very...

The foods pretty good but the service is probably the worst Ive received in a long time.

Twice now I’ve ordered a pick up well in advance to be told the order would be 20-25 minutes. I arrive 20 minutes later to grab the order and they take payment. My order isn’t ready and on both occasions I had to wait a further 25 minutes for the food to be ready. They are taking pick up orders and then only starting to cook the food when you arrive to pay.

On both occasions no one apologised or acknowledged the face that I waited nearly an hour for food to be made.

Hopefully they see this and change the way that they operate. Just don’t understand why you would take a pick up order, say a time and then not have any intention of making the food until payment is taken. I’m not usually one to complain but the restaurant wasn’t busy either time and it’s...

The secret is in the name Tasty ✅ Corner ✅ Richard wasn’t wrong. This beautiful little restaurant is nothing short of mind blowing. The service (we were met by the beautiful and warm Winnie) before the restaurant seemed to explode with patrons on a Sunday night. The service was friendly but the real star of the show was the incredible food. Delivered hot this food almost couldn’t stop us from shoving it on our mouths! Literally. The dishes came out perfectly timed as if we were being watched to make sure they come out exactly when we were ready for them! As I think about the food, my mouth starts to water…. We will be back (probably in 5 mins to be honest)

We came on a Wednesday night and it was easy to get a table. I haven’t tried Shandong style before, so not sure if it blander than other Chinese styles but it felt like it was. The service was a little slow, but it appeared to have only one waitress who was friendly and helpful. The food was good but it wasn’t great so was disappointed as nothing really stood out. We had the steamed dumplings and dim sim which both contain meat (it doesn’t say what is inside them on the menu), pan-fried snake bean and minced pork, salt and pepper squid which was overly deep-fried, sizzling Sichuan beef and Richards special fried rice. It is BYO and fully licensed as well.
