Used to come here 3+ years ago and it was great. It was one of the only South bank restaurants that wasn't an overpriced low quality tourist trap. Having returned to the restaurant - that's now sadly changed. Service was poor and they tried to make us order from a QR code (red flag right there). Ordered a beer, plus a chicken satay entree. For mains, red curry (had to prompt them for 'medium'), massaman and coconut rice. Entree came before the beer (I had to go and ask for it), and the chicken satay was decent. The curries and rice were awful. Dry and flavourless rice. Red curry had very little chicken, was watery and flavourless with no heat. Ditto for the beef massaman which had more sweet potato than anything else (cheapskates). So disappointing as I've had fantastic curries here in years gone by (when it was clearly Thai run - don't think thats the case now). At over $80 for the lot it felt like a total rip off. Countless better options around inner brisbane.

The downfall of this review is mainly due to the fact I waited 34mins for my lunch order. I was number 18 and people that got there way after me got there food first?? I hear number 21,22 then 28. I asked them around the 25 min the said the still making it? A Fried Rice and a Pork Kaprow. The number 28 was called. Remember I'm number 18. So frustrating!! They gave me a free coke. But I'd rather have my time back. On the plus side the food was great. The fried rice was a little too oily. But the container with the soy sauce and chill when added in with the lemon.. Yummy! Game changer. The Pork Kaprow. Very nice. With a lil spice with gave it the x factor. Thai food is my favouritešŸ’Æ. Delicious food. Dropped a few stars from my bad experience. Definitely will eat here again.

We went there because we wanted some rice curry. We weren’t disappointed !! We took one Green Chicken Rice Curry and one Red Beef Rice Curry, and it was soooo good. 16$ each for the plate (lunch only), which is pretty cheap, and the food was very good. The service was great too, smiling and welcoming, bringing water every time the bottle was finished. The meal was very enough for someone hungry and spicy as it’s good. Thanks again and if we go to Brisbane again, we will definitely come back here. Give a chance to Siam, you will not regret it !!!

What a terrible experience! Booked a table more than a week in advance for 10 people for my dads 50th birthday (and also called them on the day as a reminder as we were having table decorations and a cake), got to the restaurant and they did not have a table for us even though they knew who we were from our booking. Not good enough from the get-go! The staff there were fumbling about with no idea what to do with us, making silly excuses like pointing to another table of customers and stating 'I thought that group would be finished by now' and 'I thought the rain would have stopped by now so I was going to sit you outside'. They decided to throw some tables together OUTSIDE of the restaurant, on the side walk with no light whatsoever and almost in the rain with mosquitos buzzing around us. Once again, not good enough! Once the table was put together we set up the birthday decorations and the staff said they would bring out candles for us as a source of light. We waited 10 minutes after no candles came out and decided to enquire as to where they were. Our reply was 'oh I forgot about that!' - NOT GOOD ENOUGH! We decided to pack up our table and leave to eat at another BETTER restaurant. The staff were totally unprofessional, rude and very unorganised. The only reason I have given this review 1 star is because I had to in order to write it otherwise I would've given it a 0! Very...

The taste of the food was exceptional šŸ˜ I came to Australia approximately two years back … to be honest this place was surprisingly gave me the best meal ever I have tried so far in brisbane ,yesterday ā¤ļø THE BEST and no doubt about it . The food , the staff, the prices , the quality of the food and services they were just beyond the ordinary. We will definitely come once again to try out more dishes in near future . Definitely A must try restaurant in Brisbane ā¤ļø Please try their ā€œlettuce cupsā€ at entrees and Siam fried rice with seafood at rice and noodles , Thai red curry chicken or prawn and stir fry cashew nuts with chicken ,And thank me later šŸ„°šŸ˜ā¤ļø One of the best teams ever and they were so friendly and flexible … we were gonna order excessively since most of the restaurants , show on their advertisements and social media accounts the dishes bigger in pictures but actually in reality their small, so that’s why we thought to order more ,, but this gentleman over the counter ( I guess he is the owner or May be the manger ) he was so helpful selecting the best and ordering the right amount of dishes rather ordering extra and more , which was really appreciated and thankful by me and my husband. Thank you so much once again and we are going to come...

IF I COULD POST 0 STARS I WOULD!! Two weeks ago I booked a table for 10 people for my dads 50th birthday, I called on the day to reconfirm the booking. We arrived on time to a very rude, unhelpful man who made it very obvious they were not ready for us. He proceeded to bumble about and make excuses as to why the table we had booked in advance was not ready for us, pointing to a large table saying 'we thought they would be done by now'. As we stood there dumbfounded he proceeded to pick up tables from wherever he could and attempted to seat us outside on the sidewalk in the dark. We sat down extremely confused, we were told they would bring us candles so we could see our food. We sat there for 10 minutes surrounded by mosquitoes in the dark waiting for candles & no one/nothing came. We stood up to leave and they just watched us go. WHAT AN APPALING SERVICE! If you book a table at a specific time, for a specific amount of people you expect it to be there ready! The workers there are pathetic! Do not...
