Three Little Birds – Kangaroo Point
What an absolute gem! Three Little Birds is the perfect mix of cozy café vibes and seriously good food.
I stopped in for brunch and was blown away by how fresh everything tasted. The salami & meatball toasted sandwich and the peri peri chicken toastie were packed with flavor, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired with a fresh salad that made it feel just the right amount of wholesome. The spinach & chicken pie was golden, flaky, and super satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the coffee—smooth, rich, and easily one of the best brews around.
I also loved how many little treats they had on display—pastries, pies, and plenty of options for a sweet bite. The vibe inside is modern but relaxed, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome right away. It’s also great for takeaway—perfect spot to grab a coffee before a walk by the river.
Whether you’re after a hearty breakfast, a quick lunch, or just a great coffee and pastry, this place delivers every time. Definitely a spot I’ll keep...
Read moreUnfortunately my friends and I did not have a pleasant experience here. Very few of the staff members wore masks (in fact only one did when they came to talk to us). One lady - who I believe is the manager - was incredibly rude from the get go. The level of customer service was disappointing, the staff visibly had conversations about my friends and I and were rude to us despite us being polite back. I ordered a $9.50 smoothie and upon trying it realised it did not taste right. I had two friends try it to see their thoughts and they agreed that something tasted off. Upon taking the smoothie back I was met with rude remarks such as ‘well the fruit is pre-packaged so it can’t be off so I can’t do anything except remake it’ and ‘we use coconut water so maybe you just don’t like coconut’. While I appreciate these points, I feel it would be better to believe a customer or at least be professional. No refund was offered so a $9.50 undrinkable smoothie accompanied by rude staff was what I took away from...
Read moreWe decided to have brekkie with coffee at this place on Sunday morning, and ordered brekkie role and coffees from them, But when we were having some purchased croissant from the next door shop the waitress asked us not to have it at their cafe because we were not allowed to, otherwise we had to leave their cafe. She literally kicked us out because we were having a croissant from the other shop, How disrespectful and rude this behaviour is? I know they can ask us not to have other shops food in their cafe but as a curtesy she could have asked us not to do that in the future, not asking us to stop eating something already opened and been eaten. Beside we had ordered food and coffe from them anyways. In my opinion every customer wants a pleasant experience while visiting any premises, but what we experienced today was disrespect and rudeness. Will never go back and would suggest the owner take some hospitality course. Learn before...
