This is a gem of a place! Having moved to Brisbane from Sydney in 2017 I was worried that the choice of nice bars here in Brisbane would be limited. I have been proven wrong! Every time we have visitors from interstate I drag them here. I love the decor, I love the food, I love the wine. One our first visit here in September 2017 we ate the following: Salt and Pepper Squid (seriously tender. The best I've ever had) Steamed pork and prawn dumplings (melted in the mouth) Homemade chicken liver pate (oh yum yum) This place is so worth a visit.

On the menu was a fancy sounding baked vegetable salad with chicken. It was so dry I couldn’t finish it. Crying out for a fresh yoghurt and mint dressing!!!! Even the chicken was dry and obviously not freshly made. The pumpkin was a tad too al dente. Also, if you’re just a couple don’t go there!
