Appalling service. I was ordering at the sushi counter when the Asian woman at the front desk with glasses pointed her little hand at me, gesturing for me to come closer, like some middle school teacher. Then, while I was ordering, she couldn’t hear me clearly and made me repeat everything loudly. She didn’t even give me wasabi — I had to ask for it myself. But the most shocking thing happened next: they had placed some clear plastic gloves next to the chopsticks, and I wanted to use them to eat sushi without getting my hands dirty. When I reached for the gloves, this old woman reacted as if she had seen a ghost, hurriedly covering the gloves and saying, “You don’t need that.” I told her there was no need to overreact like that.
