So I tried to contact the franchise to take up my complaint that I had regarding HORRIBLE customer service when sitting outside (we did not dine however it was 40 degrees and myself and my mother were feeling dizzy) a male chef came out and told us could we not read - and to leave. I could not believe what I had heard and asked "excuse me" and my mother was in shock as she's not local. He then proceeded to insult us and begun to swear. Now I've worked in hospitality, retail you name it. Don't ever treat people that way because word gets around. I was prepared to have a long waiting discussion when threat of calling the police was made to us. Again, we were dizzy and tired and doing absolutely nothing wrong. My mother however does not like confrontation. I was going to let this review go until I had a client (I might add I own a business myself) and was told a similar story, about a female being quite rude and nasty towards my client and her family. Again sitting outside waiting for someone to arrive. I would never support a business who cannot be friendly to anyone. Should be utterly ashamed and disgusted to have such "mannerisms" I've advised so many I know of my story, and I've also had many say "yeah I've heard a fair bit about them". Change your ways before you go out...
Read moreThis isn’t a dine in experience per se but more so the aggressiveness of the man I presume either manages or owns it. I had just arrived in Albury , my daughter and I had bought food elsewhere to eat, walking out of the shopping centre that lead out to an alleyway, I spotted chairs and tables, without thinking it belonged to said cafe, we sat down and started eating, then an elderly man came out with the rudest and most aggressive attitude yelling about buying food elsewhere and sitting at his tables. I quickly apologised and was more than happy to move on which we did but he still continued to be rude. Now I’m not arguing that we shouldn’t have moved, that was my mistake not being more observant . However I feel he could’ve approached us a little more politely, there really is no need for such aggression, you never know what someone is going through and that kind of hostility wouldn’t help. Please be better and kinder, the world is already cruel enough. And incidentally, all the outdoor tables weren’t very clean hence why it didn’t enter my mind they were part of the cafe. Have...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Jamacia blue albury for breakfast, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a morning meal.
The service was exceptional; the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to care about making my visit enjoyable. Now, onto the highlight: the food.
I opted for the chilli scramble with pork belly, and it was an absolute treat. The scramble was perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of heat to kickstart my day. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, adding a delightful richness to the dish. If you're a fan of a good scramble, this combination is a must-try.
For those who prefer a simpler option, the chilli scramble on its own is equally fantastic. It's clear that the chefs have mastered the art of balancing flavors, creating a dish that's both satisfying and memorable. I highly recommend trying the chilli scramble with pork belly or the chilli scramble alone – you won't be...
