Reviewed: November 24, 2023 After placing this one on my list for quite some time, I decided to bring along a friend and try out this place for the first time. We didn't actually play any darts, but were very appreciative of the insane happy hour deal they have here, where we got to try their house lager for just $6 a pint š² The drum and bass playlist was also a very welcome addition - not a genre of music I hear being played at many places around town, so nice to hear my genre of choice being played š The owner obviously has very good taste in music š Looking to come back soon, hopefully this time to play some darts as well!
Reviewed: October 4, 2024 I have since visited here two times. The bartender (I canāt remember his name) is the curator of the drum and bass playlist! Well played. As for the two times that Iāve been here, the venue definitely lives up to the hype. Itās a pretty small space but well laid out and it gives off a very cool vibe. The dart machines have automatic sensors and score counters to ensure accuracy and ease of play, with many game modes to pick from - including the cool feature of being able to play against people around the world, through the machineās online feature! For just $2 a game and with some friendly/helpful staff, this place is an absolute bargain and you wonāt find a better place to play darts anywhere else. Just remember to bring cash, as the machines only accept physical coins. You can also withdraw cash from the on-site ATM machine, but do note that it charges a fee for withdrawing cash, so if youāre looking to save every last penny, just bring your own cash. You can exchange notes for coins at the counter. Iād definitely come back here more, if only I was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is⦠letās say, clearly designed with an Asian audience in mind. The soundtrack is blasting Asian pop at a volume that could probably wake up the neighbors, which gives the whole thing the vibe of a Japanese karaoke bar āminus the singing, plus flashing dart machines that look like they were designed during someoneās particularly creative acid trip.
We came for a simple game of darts, but first had to figure out how to convince the machines to actually work. After some trial and error (and a moment of staring at them like cavemen discovering fire), a staff member eventually appeared and fixed everything with the confidence of a man who had seen this a thousand times before.
On the bright side, there are plenty of machines, around ten, so you donāt have to elbow your way in like at other places. The price is four dollars for a double game, which feels slightly outrageous considering the machines occasionally act like moody teenagers. Still, for a quick night out where you want to throw sharp objects at a wall while being serenaded by K-pop at max volume, itās...
