Cafe Lelunar — Restaurant in Sydney

I ordered a BLAT and it didnt come with avocado or herb mayo. I took it back and i saw the guy i talked to in the kitchen talking to the staff in a polite manner and gave it to them. Literally not even 20 seconds later, the sandwich is back on the counter ready. The staff speaking amongst themselves were looking at me just laughing and speaking in their language. I got my sandwich and they badly cut up an avocado and just put it in my sandwich without the herb mayo. Why have a crappy attitude about smth we so nicely asked about? We weren't mad until we saw how little effort they put into correcting the error and making fun of us. As a chef its honestly just insulting, i understand forgetting to put something but if i was so nice about it why treat me like that?

The food is mid, esp with their low effort. The male staff at the front are fine, but the back of house staff women are rude. The salmon is for some reason chewy and a bit inedible so dont order that, but i liked the BLAT the other times i came in the afternoon on a weekday when other staff was here doing it right.

Maybe dont come on a saturday morning to avoid the same thing...

Very disappointed Brunch at the cafe. Kids hot cakes over cooked when you cut ,you feel like your cutting a piece of bread, the porches eggs over cooked instead of running yolk it was very hard, customer service felt like , why Iam serving these customers, The cafe has no directions on pay first to serve, so we have sat on the tables outside and the wait staff came all ordered, when she came to get the payment, which I didn’t ask , but thought I got to pay at the counter , but the lady without any gestures said next time order at counter b4 sit down. It was so disappointing to see how wait staff treat customers at this hard time for the businesses outside. Came here about a month ago with my mum for brunch. The food was okay at best. We got big breakfast and my mum asked for the bacon to be cooked well done/crispy and as you can see in the photo it’s barely cooked. I ordered an almond croissant which was chewy and stale. The service wasn’t great either. While we were ordering, I changed my mind about what I wanted and asked to change it (before we paid) and they were quite annoyed about it. I also realised after we paid that I wanted almond milk in my coffee and asked to change it (was happy to pay the extra) but they said it was too late because they already started frothing the milk.
