An immersive experience. More than visually, we felt the harmony from the kitchen, front of house and management. It was a memorable evening, feeling as if we were highly treasured VIP regulars. Chef MJ and his synergistic team creating each dish with lyrical precision. A proud reflection of their acclaimed three-goblet-awarded Australian chef, Luke Mangan. Luke's Kitchen is the jewel in the crown of the stunning Kimpton Margot Hotel lobby. Experience for yourself, immersed in contemporary glamour, with a dining experience that shapeshifts as day turns to night in the heart of Sydney's CBD. Our mains were Roast Duck Breast and Brooklyn Valley Pasture Fed Sirloin 3-4MB, sides, roast zucchini, bacon, rosemary and pecorino. Our desserts, Luke’s signature Liquorice Dome, lime rhubarb, apples and lime. Then our surprise from Chef MJ…not even on the menu yet…Luke’s Golden Tim Tam. A rich, balanced and decadent dessert. A truly immersive and memorable evening. Thank you MJ and team, Sin Im Ha (restaurant manager) and front of house.

Situated inside Kimpton Margot Sydney Hotel, the restaurant felt very inviting with low lights, the tables spaced out very well, with lovely muted decor and high ceilings in the foyer and bar area adding to the ambience. We came here for a weekend dinner date and the service from start to end was great. Attentive waitstaff, on hand with recommendations and to answer any questions about the menu. We ordered from the a la carte menu, and everything we tried did not disappoint. The garlic bread is a must, the prawn toast was so crunchy and thick, the seafood all very fresh and full of flavour, and the sirloin cooked exactly the way we wanted. The trufffle mash was delicious (some salt was needed to bring out the flavour in its entirety), the snow peas were fantastic and the heirloom carrots were moreish. Definitely recommend the lemon meringue dessert - it was light and tart yet sweet - perfect ending to the dinner.

This was my first time visiting as I booked the drag brunch with the TALENTED Hollywould Star🤩 Thank you for the options of mocktails and the little juices šŸ‘ much appreciated to have selection for non drinkers and was surprised just how tasty the health juices were. I selected the vegan option (despite not being vegan) and wow! I was surprised by how delicious ALL the dishes were and the attention to detailsšŸ‘Œ The venue and atmosphere were incredible, the Sunday vibes…I could’ve stayed there all day. A fabulous place and can’t wait to check out the dinner menu. The staff (take a bow) everyone was friendly, attentive and went above and beyondšŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ they also cared about their patrons and seemed to genuinely love their work/job. Exceeded expectations that I may have had, can’t wait to return and cannot recommend Luke’s Kitchen enough. Thank you and keep up the amazing work.

Our party of four had an amazing dinner at Luke’s Kitchen. The service was impeccable and the team very personable & attentive, with waiters chatting and offering great menu recommendations when asked. Our glasses were never empty, with both water and wine glasses refilled without us even noticing while we chatted. These service qualities are rare in most restaurants in Sydney, in most cases you have to ask for your table to be cleared or for your glasses to be refilled. The food was sensational and selection on the menu catered for us all, with too many delicious choices that we couldn’t try in one dinner. Our standout dishes were the lamb croquettes, gnocchi, braised beef & potato skins. All delicious and tasty, leaving us wanting more. Ending our dinner on a high, we ordered the Rocky Road. A ā€˜must order’ dish for anyone who dines here. It’s a dessert for sharing and masterfully presented table-side by the waiter. You won’t be disappointed!! Luke’s Kitchen is a great local neighbourhood gem, but should become a destination restaurant for any foodie. The menu is incredible with too many great choices for one dinner, so we’ll be back to try more dishes. Impeccable service, great wine list and an easy location with street parking. Will definitely be...

Where can I start, from the moment we walked into this lovely art deco interior, we knew this was going to be a special night to remember. First of all, the service was friendly and welcoming. From the starter of prawn toast, this name does not do this dish justice, the taste sensation was amazing, beyond words. The entree of Moroccan Cauliflower, was equally as good. The main served by Luke himself of Coral Perch was spectacular with a lovely broth that was cooked to perfection. My lovely Anna celebrated her birthday here and was totally delighted, and it exceeded our expectations. We can say this is easily the best restaurant we have ever been to in Sydney. We are already arranging our next visit in a few weeks time, and cannot wait to experience this again.. Joseph & Anna

Since my original review we have been back 5 times. Each time has been as good as the last. We still get that wow feeling when we are trying new dishes, and special mention to Abe who welcomes Anna & I like family, not to mention his great wine pairing recommendations. We have tried the best fine dining restaurants in Sydney, and this is our go to restaurant, it never fails to deliver the perfect dinning...

Came here for their bottomless lunch with a drag show. The Kimpton Margot Hotel is a very new and nice place. This restaurant is located in the lobby of the hotel, definitely upper class atmosphere.

The bottomless lunch menu consisted of 5 courses, all of which are very light and small portions. Our 4th course was our table's most anticipated: the beef. Disappointingly we received 2 slices. All the men on our table were really considering to walk out and get takeaway before continuing as the food came out slowly as well and after each song. One of the guys on our table went outside twice to grab a bite as he knew early on that the lunch was not going to be satisfying.

The taste profile of the food was asian. Not authentic asian, it was a fusion. Most of us were confused, the application of the fusion didn't really accentuate the ingredients. And very salty.

I'm giving it a 5 star today because a set menu 'bottomless lunch' should not justify the whole reputation of this restaurant. I am hoping to come back one day and order from the a...
