Hi Sushi & Dumplings Westfield — Restaurant in Victoria

My review is all due to the service Will provides me as a Japanese teacher at Geelong High School. He and the team do us an amazing deal when I bring students to the restaurant as part of a Japanese class excursion. I have been going for at least 7-8 years now. Many of my students have never tried Japanese food before we go on this excursion and Will always allows me to order a huge variety of meals for them to share so they can sample lots of different stuff. The tofu and veg curry was great! Came with miso as well :) went in on a rainy and quiet Thursday at noon and waited for a bit but received a big portion and tofu was dried delicious (pictured)! Ordered through the tablet was a nice experience.

Came in on a busy Friday and food came out quick but tofu wasn't fried and portion was smaller (unpictured as I was starving lol and ate immediate) but still yummy. Although my friend didn't receive her miso soup and she didn't want to bother as they seemed busy.

Last week, we went to a hi dumplings and hi sushi in a shopping centre. Somehow there are quite a few stores in the Geelong area but honestly the food is mediocre at best. Their fried pork ramen (don't quite remember what it was called) was one the better dishes, but the fried chicken one was quite depressing. It was 50% flour and got soggy very quickly.
