A good star rating despite the below average attitude of the staff member who greeted me with “We didn’t have Salad today, so we had to make you one.” Judging by the look on her face, I immediately felt like an inconvenience to her day. I arrived at 12:15 and the cafe had cordoned off some areas and signs showed that they were hosting a function at 1pm [good for them!]. The staff member sweeping the floor near me while I was eating was clearly bugged that she’d have to come back and again I felt like an inconvenience. I made the choice to visit this cafe whilst the function members didn’t, to me that’s a big distinction. I left at 12:35 without the intention of returning or recommending this place to others. Great little Cafe with great coffee and food. Can't believe how great the service was, very nice and friendly. I have a very specific coffee and the girls got it spot on which was nice and the food was excellent as well. Was a busy day and didn't have to wait long at all for my order. I ordered a flat white, and was served a chai latte. I brought it back and told them it was chai. So the barista opens the lid, looks at what’s inside and she said no this is coffee. She hadn’t even tried it!! It even smelled like nutmeg. She made me feel like a crazy person for a second and I don’t appreciate it. Will not be coming back.
