Had a horrible experience here due to one staff member, my friend had a cocktail which was over half full swiped from the table, I believe the staff member was clearing tables and may have thought it was finished which is fine, however, we went to the bar to advise the staff my friend wasn’t finished as it was over $20 for one drink. We were advised it was okay and the drink would be remade, after half an hour we went to the bar to check on where it was and had a very rude girl (who I assume was the manager at the time as we were directed to her) tell us it was my friends fault for not stopping the staff member and chasing her down to get it back, we said the drink was supposed to be being remade and she continued to blame my friend for not stopping her drink from being taken. My friend had no chance to stop her as the drink was grabbed and taken to the back of the bar very quickly.

While it’s not a large amount of money, the rude and unprofessional response we received after being told it was going to be remade is completely unacceptable, the bar was not busy at the time and would have taken less than a minute to remake, considering there was no fault at all on our part it’s very disheartening to be...

Extremely rude and unprofessional; DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

I booked the venue 3 weeks in advance. The manager was VERY slow to respond (it took him 3 - 5 days to respond to emails) and always with lacking information. He told me the night before my 30th birthday to 'pay him or he won't honour my booking' for food I had not confirmed to order, and for a venue he was advertising to be free to book.

When I called him and told him that despite me not confirming, I was happy to pay the $200 of the food, he wanted me to write up all my credit card info and send it to him in a Word form so he can charge me. When I told him “I am not comfortable sending you all my credit card info, is there an account number you can give me so I can send you the money now?” He answered a flat ‘No’. I then tell him "Sorry I don’t trust you, I cant give you my credit card info’. He tells me ‘That’s okay mate, your booking is cancelled, good luck finding another venue for tomorrow’ and hung up.

The place is nice and the drinks are good, however, the bouncer who was at the door the night I went was a nasty piece of work! He was about 40, tall and slim with long greasy hair, he is the reason I won't be going back or recommending this place to my friends. As I was about to enter he put his hand in my face and told me to wait as a man came down the stairs, all the way down the stairs, this guy would have been halfway up coming down, the stairs are not narrow and there is plenty of space for two people to go up, down or vice versa, but he made me wait for about 20 seconds while this guy exited the building. I can only guess as to why he felt this was necessary, there was no line and he didn't check my ID?
