nyt Bistro — Restaurant in Salzburg

Not foreign friendly. The waitress was very rude and impatient with foreigns, they don't have a menu in any other lenguaje than in german, it was a very unpleasant experience, if you are a foreigner avoid this place. Update:

1. Well just take a look at the reply, these guys are clearly bullies, avoid yourself receiving this type of treatment.
2. I've never said racism, if that's what you thought it's for a reason.
3. I thought saying "hello I don't speak German, do you have a menu?" was enough information for you to not give me a menu in German, I would whish that you would have at least a little bit of common sence and actually eyes to see whats going on.
4. Don't You flatter yourself that much, you were around 70% of your capacity, you're right it's not excuse, your Austrian clients were...

This is, indeed, a lovely cafe. The ambience is lovely. The man who served us; however, was arrogant. We were visiting Salzburg from Canada. Upon entering the cafe, the individual who greeted us said, rudely “oookkkkay”. He did lower himself enough to seat us (plebeians, riff-raff or whatever he thought us to be). We ordered coffees and a snack which were lovely. But the manner in which the server treated us was appalling. He took my son’s order, and part of my daughter’s order but did not have the decency to wait for her snack order. Perhaps he thought we were going to “dine and dash”. Perhaps we weren’t dressed finely enough. Whatever, he should take a lesson in etiquette. Oh, he also didn’t have the decency to return our “have...

Sehr gute qualitativ hochwertige (Snacks wie Brunch) Speisen, äußerst appetitlich angerichtet (Das Auge isst ja schließlich mit). Sehr freundliches Service und gepflegtes Ambiente. Hier legt man auch auf guten Umgang, Manieren u. angemessenes Benehmen wert. Daher kann ich auch die letzten beiden schlechten Rezensionen verstehen. Es kann schon peinlich sein, wenn Mann dabei erwischt wird, wie Er sich daneben benimmt. Natürlich muß eine Familie zusammenhalten und dann wird gleich noch einmal eine 2te schlechte Bewertung "nachgeschossen". Ich kann dazu sagen: Eigentümer samt Personal waren im Recht, zumal die Gäste mehrmals höflich auf die schwierige Situation hingewiesen wurden. Traurig finde ich auch, dass der Hinweis überhaupt notwendig war. Mit ein bisschen weniger Ignoranz u. ein wenig mehr Verständnis der Gäste, wäre diese für beide Seiten unzufriedenstellende Situation gar nicht entstanden. Ein Gast wird in diesem Lokal immer König sein; zumindest solange sein Benehmen Ihn auch als solchen ausweisen kann. Ich werde jedenfalls diesem wunderbaren Lokal treu bleiben. Glücklicherweise haben diese mimosenhaften Gäste ja auch versprochen in Zukunft dem Lokal fernzubleiben. Ich hoffe dieses Versprechen wird auch eingelöst, dann darf man Stammgästen, Personal und Eigentümern...
