*A Delightful Experience at Offerl Bakery* I recently had the pleasure of visiting Offerl Bakery, and it was nothing short of a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with kindness and outstanding service from the staff, which set the tone for a truly enjoyable visit. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, with beautifully curated décor that created a soothing and welcoming vibe. Even the details—like the spotless and well-maintained washrooms—added to the overall comfort. Now, onto the food! I ordered the *pastrami sandwich*, which was packed with fresh, high-quality ingredients and had a rich, satisfying flavor. While the price was neither cheap nor overly expensive, it was absolutely worth it for the taste and freshness. Alongside my meal, I had a *cappuccino* and a *sweet cheese tophengolasche, both of which were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly delicious. If you’re looking for a bakery that delivers great taste, a cozy atmosphere, and warm service, Offerl Bakery is absolutely worth a visit!

First off, the member of staff who took our order had only tried one bread from the entire range. Either it was his first day, yet that didn't help much selecting a loaf. We picked Meister Wenzel. It's a spicy Rye and Capo-wheat sourdough based bread. The flavour is incredible, however from cutting the loaf it appears that the 'Krume' (interior of the bread) wasn't baked properly. It stuck to the knife and was far too sticky. In addition to that, bread doesn't come cheap here. This loaf will set you back €7.5. Then again, it's Bio, organic, traceable and everything that is forward thinking and good for the environment (and of course you). Madame Crousto is their signature bread, so that might be worth a try on a future visit. Edit: We visited two days later to enquire about the underbaked bread. The girl was extremely friendly and confirmed our theory. We received a fresh one from the counter. It was twice the size and properly baked. Delicious!

Sunday lunch time. The ordering process was fast, but bringing the food was a mess. Ordered items from the counter, so nothing fancy. After 20 minutes first only couple of pastries arrived. Asked what about one more bun: "oh yeah, sorry, will bring". 10 minutes later it arrived. Asked what about one more croissant that we've ordered. Same story. They have the order electronically and still a shame that we have to remind that its not everything we ordered... Croissant came with different jam than ordered. One child seat available. Nice toiled downstairs with a bakery decorations, nice. The wheat bread was tasty, with hard crust, so may not be something for your kids but I liked chewing on it :) mixes feelings. If lots of people, order to go and you'll be happier... the coffee was with mild sour taste, so they may actually roast a nice quality one themselves.

AVOID - bad experience with the waitress!!!

Yesterday afternoon I dined with my mother at this restaurant, which was an activity we were looking forward to during our trip, but we didn't expect that the waitress xxx from your restaurant completely ruined our experience.

We have booked a table. From the moment we walked in, she ignored my mother and me. It took us nearly half an hour after we sat down to wait for her to take our order, even after many guests who came later than us had already been served.

Finally she came took our order, she didn’t explain the menu like she did to the rest of other tables. Instead she just asked what do you want. I told her we have been waiting for so long, she just said you can see we are busy.

When it came time to settle the bill, I waved several times to get her attention, but it felt like she was preoccupied and didn't notice. I eventually went up to her to ask about paying, and then it took her quite some time to clear the tableware before she could assist me.

What made this experience even more unbearable was the lingering feeling that her treatment towards us was rooted in something far more insidious—an unspoken bias based on the color of my skin. It twisted the joy of our outing into a bitter aftertaste that I won’t soon forget.

This is not just about poor service; it's about respect, dignity, and the fundamental right to be treated as a valued guest. I implore you to address this issue, as your waitress, xxx, owes me an apology for the discomfort and pain that marred what should have been a cherished memory...

Pastries were good, but nothing to shout about. Pricey as well. It would have been an average cafe visit if it wasn't for the young lady manning the ovens when we visited on 19/07/25. We were told by staff to enter into the dining area to take a seat but was stopped by this particular young lady. She rather curtly asked us "How may I help you?" without much of a smile. We were thrown off as we were simply just walking to the empty 2 seater table infront of us. Not too sure what her intention was haha. When we told her that her colleague had informed us to take a seat, she begrudgingly turned back to the ovens without so much of even acknowledging what we say. We aren't asking for a warm welcome, but just some basic courtesy would have been great. Not sure if it had to do with us being 2 young asian ladies :') Take what you may from this :) Also waited a good 10 minutes for the bill after informing the staff. Had to remind the staff when we saw him closing the bill for other tables after us, but somehow we were told that we had to wait for another colleague of his. Shame that an establishment with decent food could not treat all individuals equally, it...
