disclaimer: i have been to some polish cat cafes in the past, and I wasn't a fan so this review might be kinda biased.
I ordered: a 3,90€ vanilla cat "cake/cookie?" not sure what to call it - it's a half baked scone. it had a tiny bit of filling. it was really small, weird comparison but the length was almost the same as a sugar packet
a 4,90€ matcha with milk. not gonna lie, matcha outside of Japan will generally probably just taste like grass to me. you might like it though! the portion wasnt the biggest tho
a 4,10€ white grape juice. was way too sweet and had to order water and add half of the water to the juice, pretty tasty although I wouldn't say it's worth the price
and a 1€ cat snack
the cats are pretty unbothered. they won't get scared of you but they couldn't care less about your "kitty kitty". even if you buy the cat snack they will probably eat it, but won't go crazy over you. the staff was very kind to me, so in terms of service it's really great. the place is big for a cat cafe, and has cat toys all over (a positive for me) and is air conditioned. i went on a Sunday at around 3pm and it wasn't that busy. oh, also it's got free wifi.
in conclusion: meh, wouldn't go there again, but I don't regret experiencing it the first time. if not the cats tho, i wouldn't come at all (sorry for the mid pictures, i screenshoted...
Read moreI read the reviews, but still came for the cats anyway. Food: It's completely self-service, so I can't say much about or rate the service. The price is rather high (we spent about 4.5€ for a cup of cappuccino, and 10€ for a strawberry juice). You can pay with card. Staff: The staff was really friendly and welcoming. She guided us how to order from the machines without us having to ask. Atmosphere: However, it was really crowded, and full of children. Also there were only 3 cats that i could find, so they would ignore everyone, even if you have food for them lol. Space: The cafe is really clean. Like it's not smelly at all. However, the restroom did stink a lot. The cats: The cats are really well kept. They are super clean, soft, and gentle. However, we couldn't play with or even see them much, mostly because the parents and their children would keep the cats to themselves. Only when we were about to leave could we get to pet one cat for a bit.
Conclusion: Maybe try visiting on weekdays as it would probably be less crowded, and you would be able to interact with the cats more. Since the cats are in great care, the cafe is definitely...
Read moreThe coffee was really good (with cute foam art!) and the matcha cake they had that day was delicious. And of course with super cute cats!💕 The tables and the chairs are comfortable to chill or work in. However, I must say the children that were in the cafe were unbearable. The kids kept harassing the cats (cats that were clearly continuously running away from them cause couldn't lay down anywhere in peace) and being very close to other guests (including me) which was very distracting and annoying. The place would be a 10/10 if they stablish some children-free hours to be able to enjoy the place with peace and quiet. That and/or have some ground rules to protect the peace of the cats and the experience of other guests, since it must be super stressful for the cats right now...
So many people treating cats like they're dogs is just so frustrating and sad to see since cats NEED their space to be stress-free for their health. The place SHOULD look out for the well-being of the cats from annoying kids and...
