I have been to Clementine several times and used to like it a lot. However, this time the service was quite bad. First we waited for somebody to take our order for quite a while; after we finally ordered the breakfast for the whole table did not come at once but 2 people had to wait for parts of their Clementine breakfast for another 5 minutes. At a place like this, I expect everything to come at once! When we asked for more whole wheat bread, the waiters told us (friendly but anyways) that they only have normal bread left, as otherwise they would need to warm/ bake it up which would take 10-15 minutes. First of all it was quite early in the day, they should not be out of whole wheat bread for breakfast by 10:30am + I would expect a place like this to answer something along the lines of ‚I am sorry, we only have the normal bread left for now - is it okay if I ll bring you some of the normal one for now, and we ll bake the whole wheat one and bring it to you as soon as it is done?‘ Please work on your service - This is a such a beautiful place with really good food, it would be a pity to lose the Charme due to a lack in...
Read moreClementine im Glashaus is truly a standout dining experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the astonishing service. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they ensured our every need was met with a warm smile. The location itself is simply breathtaking. Nestled within the Glashaus, the restaurant boasts a unique and enchanting ambiance. The surrounding greenery creates a serene and inviting atmosphere, making the dining experience even more memorable. But the true star of the show is undoubtedly the food. The dishes are extraordinarily tasty, showcasing a masterful blend of flavors and textures. Each bite was an explosion of culinary creativity. We were particularly impressed by Beef Tartar, Halibut and duck. Overall, Clementine im Glashaus is a must-visit for any food enthusiast. The combination of exceptional service, stunning location, and exquisite cuisine makes it an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a truly special...
Read moreWe always check online before choosing a place, and this restaurant looked beautiful — especially the glass room, which we were really excited to see. On Saturday morning, we stopped by in person. The gentleman at the hotel front desk told us they were at full capacity and not accepting any walk-ins. I asked if we could wait, but he said no — there was simply no way to get in without a reservation.
Wanting to give it a try, we went online and easily made a reservation for Sunday morning instead. When we returned the next day, the same person seemed surprised to see us — even though he had told us the day before that Sunday was also fully booked. Oddly enough, the restaurant was nearly empty. They were only seating outdoors, and even that space was less than half full.
It was confusing and disappointing. We understand if a place is truly busy, but being told two days in a row that they were packed to capacity — only to come back and find it mostly empty — left a strange impression. We really wanted to enjoy the space and the experience, but the way things were handled made it hard to...
