I have been coming to the Atlantis for over 20 years now, and Murray’s has been a notoriously slow restaurant with poor service and lack of new menu items for many, many years. My most recent, and last ever trip to Murray’s was a complete mess from each level of staff and management combined. Firstly, as we entered and asked to be seated, the hostess informed us that there would be a 30 minute wait. While we waited, the hostess scrambled out from behind the desk and ran over to kill a roach with her foot. She covered it with a napkin and went to get another employee to pick it up. The staff did not think we saw this happen, and proceeded with their shifts. Once seated, we ordered two hot teas and our meal, as it was ridiculously freezing cold inside the restaurant. Our hot tea was meant to help warm us up while we waited. After 20 minutes, the waitress returned to tell us that the kettle was broken and they were unable to boil water. We were not able to order tea or coffee. I have no idea how a full restaurant with a full kitchen cannot provide hot beverages, but nonetheless we moved on and ordered water with no ice. We then sat and watched as the 4 tables surrounding us got seated, placed their orders, and their food came out while we continued to wait for our meal. Two of the tables even managed to finish their meals and pay their bill and exit while we continued to wait. We asked the waitress, and then the manager where our food was and why it was taking so long. The answer they continued to provide was that the kitchen "was backed up" and we just had to wait longer. This does not explain the fact that 4 tables sat after us, ordered after us, received their food before us and exited the restaurant before our food came out. And just to put into context, our meals were cold vegetable sandwiches with a side of steamed vegetables. Our sandwiches require ZERO cooking time. The manager said they would give a discount on our bill at the end of our meals to make up for it. Unfortunately for us, this did not help the situation as we were only at this restaurant to use a $100 meal voucher credit that we had for this restaurant alone. If we did not have this voucher, we would never be caught dead or alive inside this restaurant for the reasons I stated above: terrible service and menu. So to receive a discount on a voucher meal was completely unhelpful and meaningless. Once we finished eating, the manager was nowhere to be found. We waited about 10 minutes for them to not appear, and then decided to leave without any discount as we were just planning to burn the voucher and leave anyways. Gratuity is automatically added on restaurant bills on this property, so the staff and service still got an undeserved tip on terrible service and lack of doing their jobs in the most basic degree. This place is lucky it is embedded inside the Atlantis and in the Marina, because if it were located anywhere else in the world, they would never see another returning customer and would likely be out of business in days or weeks. This is likely the worst restaurant for service that I have ever been to, and I will never return here again even if I am offered...

BEWARE!!! Gratuity included already! Nice place but today’s experience was a little scammy (just like the spa) we came in and asked for a table. We were able to be seated right away during breakfast hours. She sat us at a nice booth which we enjoyed and our waitress was Deniece. All got our breakfast for 3 people as you can see here on the receipt. I drank my milk within 3 minutes of it getting set down at the table and the 45 minutes we sat there not once were are drinks offered to be refilled. You can see in the next photo when we got up to leave, all of our drinks were gone. We waited atLEASE 10 minutes after finishing food for her to come back but no so we had to track our waitress down ourselves. She goes to find the iPad and brings it to us, sets it in my husbands hand and then proceeds to go through everything adding it all up and the checkout process that should’ve been done before setting it down with us. As she is standing overtop of him, he is actively checking out - gives an 18% tip (even though we probably shouldn’t have been that generous) and then she gives us a receipt afterwards. On the receipt I notice it says 15% gratuity has already been added to our bill and gives you small percentage add on advise. The photo does not reflect what actually happened since it says “$0 extra gratuity” it must’ve been printed beforehand and given after it was already paid. I was livid that was not pointed out of spoken about before we checked out. He did not see a receipt before the iPad was handed to him so he had no way to know. After the breakfast I left feeling ok about the breakfast even though we didn’t get drinks refilled but after THIS? I left feeling uneasy and feeling scammed. We won’t be returning here on future visits. We ended up giving her 32% tip on our ACTUAL BILL vat included since our bill was $80.30 and we tipped a total of $25.04. Completely ridiculous. If it would’ve been a fine dining restaurant and bigger bill I would have asked for the manager to remedy it. Instead, we decided $15 was not worth the headache. Deneice was very nice so I don’t necessarily think it was purposeful. I just think she may be new and needs more training based on the details of our personal service. I do believe the RESTAURANT needs to train servers to let people know ahead of time or they’ll start missing out on lots of repeat customers. The overall vibe was ok. It’s retro diner theme which is a little played out and nothing special but...

If you want flavorful food in classic Art Deco surroundings at inflated resort prices and abysmal service, this is the place. Came for dinner on a Sunday night, 3 parties on the waiting list before us, quoted 10 minute wait. 25 minutes later, after noting 5 open tables that took over 10 minutes just to clean a single two-top, we were seated. 10 minutes went by, and the waiter returned and asked in a dull monotone if we were ready to order, which we did: two Cokes, meatloaf, and a Reuben. No waffling over the sides, no extra complications to the order. 45 minutes later, three parties that had been seated after us are being served, our wait being remarked upon by the table next to us. The Cokes are long gone, consumed during the wait, and finally, food arrives. Standard deli fare, two slices of meatloaf with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables, good portion of meat in the Reuben, but needed additional Russian dressing. Waiter assiduously avoided our table and we could not flag him down for a side of dressing or drink refills, indeed, he never visited our table or the ones next to us again, although he was still moving around the prep and pickup area. Resigned to finish the sandwich without additional dressing or beverages. Another server dropped off the dinner checks at our table and adjacent tables and imparted that there are no drink refills for their $4 soft drinks. 10%VAT and 15% gratuity is automatically included, along with suggested additional gratuity amounts, which we declined. $71.25 for a sandwich, meatloaf, and two soft drinks. It should be noted that it was indeed Mother's Day, but this was well after any lunch or...

Murray's Deli closely resembles that of a Denny's diner. They offer a decent selection of hot and cold deli items, donuts, and coffee. We dined at Murray's for lunch. We arrived just before noon and were able to order some of their hot food items that are only available after 11:30am. We tried the salmon and lox bagel, turkey club sandwich, cheeseburger with a donut bun, and roast beef sandwich. The salmon and lox bagel was easily the best item we tried. It came with a generous serving of smoked salmon which paired well with the toasted bagel. The turkey club sandwich was also fairly large and stuffed full of turkey, bacon, and fresh lettuce and tomato. The roast beef sandwich was decent. The cheeseburger itself was fine but the donut bun was more like a plain fried donut with no sugar or glaze. I would recommend getting a regular bun instead. Overall, Murray's Deli gave some fairly large portions of fairly decent food. If you plan on visiting, I'd recommend stopping in around or past noon so that you can order their hot food items.

Topic: Murray’s Deli Date: 5/13/25 Quality: 3/10 Value: 4/10 Service: 2/10 Timeliness: 7/10 Atmosphere: 4/10 Total: 20/50 Had our first meal in the Bahamas here. Will not be back. Two different servers helped us at the start so we were unsure who our actual server was. Service, while on the topic - consisted of taking the order and bringing it out. Nothing more and nothing less. Crispy Tempura Onion Strings 2.88/5 (Onion rings were flavorless, and it came with pre-packaged blue cheese that smelled like an unsavory bathroom) Grilled Eggplant Salad 2/5 (Eggplant not very well cooked) Three-Egg Omelette - mushrooms, green peppers, and swiss 3/5 (Omelette was missing green peppers when arrived at table, and having only one meat option [ham] is absurd) Philly Cheesesteak 4.5/5 (Very solid Philly Cheesesteak sandwich!) Classic Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup 3/5 (Cheese not melted on sandwich, tomato soup not very flavorful)

One of the best lunch spots at Atlantis! On an island where every meal has 25% in taxes & fees added to your bill, this spot had great value! For $20, you could get 2 hotdogs, fries, and a soda. If that seems expensive to you, just know that a tiny quesidilla a few doors down will run you $30 without sides/drink before taxes & fees. Is the food life changing? No, but that's not why you're here. You're here because you'd like to eat a meal on Paradise without taking out another mortgage. Eat here for the value. Ignore the unenthusiastic zombies that make up the wait staff and getting charged $4/soda refill. Be advised: everywhere on Paradise Island adds an automatic 15% gratuity and 10% "value added tax" to your bill, regardless of the level of service provided. Expect service to be slow but the food to be hot.
