A CASA MIA 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in Brussels

I don't usually write reviews, because I am a very difficult person (judge) in food.. (well at everything..🫣) I am a tourist from Greece, not a food expert but I have been to 49 countries and over 500 cities in 3 continents. I have tasted a lot of things.. I have been in Italy 7 times, except Sicily I have travel by car, train and of course my motorcycle all over Italy. My Belgian friend told me that is the best Italian restaurant in Brussels, ooook I can tell that maybe is one of the best restaurants ever from originally Italian restaurants, I tasted food that I only compare with homemade Italian from an elder woman, also the tiramisu was delicious!!! If you walking around in Brussels,and miss that restaurant you probably make a big mistake!! And if you are a Belgian and never been there... What's wrong with you...

The place is quite small (so, in general, better to reserve in advance) but very nice. Anyway what is really great is the food. I have been there several times trying almost every dish and I have never been disappointed. Quality is very high and it can surely compete with any restaurant in Italy. The only drawback is that prices are, in general, a bit high (at least compared with similar restaurants in Italy) but still ok if one wants to eat really good Italian dishes!

Edit: I had another try and I have been again amazed by the very good plates! In this case the "ragù" was not exactly as I would have expected but nevertheless really tasty and well prepared. Also the chocolate mousse was really good. No surprise, a...

There is nothing that you can order here that will disappoint you. We weren't directed by any list to go here. Landed here purely by chance.

This is a true star of a restaurantthat deserves to be on the food map of the city. I am not sure why People are not lining up for a table at this place.

The restaurant is a simple, quite pace with nice pictures and posters of cinema. The place serves Italian food that cooked by Italians. A very authentic experience. Even though you are in Belgium, trade the local food for this authentic Italian food experience atleast for a meal.

We ordered beer, shrimp and beef carpacio. Probably is THE best Shrimp a la Creme we have ever had. Must visit for anyone visiting or living...
