Yesterday we were supposed to eat at Umamido but they are packed so we ended up eating here, I live in belgium and my friends visited all from the UK but we are all Filipinos, we are 6 in total. We are rudely welcome by the chinese waiter with her high tone voice to my 2 friends that we cannot bring the waffles they are holding which is for us its not a problem so they threw it bfore we came it. Her rudeness continued when we started to order as she seems to rush us. All of us were really shocked on how the way she is taking our order.. The way she speaks and treated us were something i never experienced in Belgium. so i explained to them that maybe thats how they are without the intention to be rude but i hope she tries to speak nicely to customers next time
Food was okay, not worth the price. All of us did not finish our bowl even we were really hungry. You need to pay 1euro just for Nori which was not included in the original bowl. I would recommend to try those japanese owned boutiqe family restos in belgium instead or Umamido and Takumi.

I've been to so many restaurants in Brussels in my life and when it comes to japanese restaurants, this one is the worst ever. We ate there yesterday and our stomach was so bloated. The digestion was horrible. On top of that the customer service is terrible. For instance, you cannot book a table uf you are 2 people but you can book a table if you guys are 3. So it's all about the money. 3 people passed us just because they were 3.
I'll say it again. HORRIBLE, DON'T TRUST THOSE REVIEWS. I'M A DUDE FROM BRUSSELS and there are so many better options...
Read moreDidn't have any ramen, so I cannot tell anything about the ramen (my Japanese friend likes it and often goes there, it seems). I had a tonkatsu which I often used to have when I was living in Tokyo. Definitely not as good as in Japan (the meat is not as tender and juicy and the rice they use is not as good as the Japanese rice) but it was still tasty and I enjoyed it. As for the service, I really liked it. A tiny bit clumsy here and there, but they were all very young students and you could tell they were putting effort into their works. No mistakes, fast and with a smile. Overall quite...
