Bar Des Amis — Restaurant in Brussels

Would give 0 if I could. Each time we went the service was terrible. Wait 15 min in line to get a beer, often other people or "friends of the bartenders" keep them occupied. The last time was the worst and we would never go there again. We have been waiting for 15 min at the bar for service. My girlfriend asks for 2 beers, as the girl at the bar tells her that she has to say please because it's not nice to them. Well no, we are not gonna say please, because waiting for 15 min is not nice to us (also we are not in kindergarten).

With a big group of friends we had great time tasting several classics. The cheese plattter was good to go with our drinks and engage in endless conversation. Staff courteous, helpful. Ambience rustic and ample space and long hall layout not making it feel too noisy or crowded . Nice music & great service . Nice selection of beers & other drinks , even non alcoholic varieties. Nice bar in a cool neighborhood with plenty of life. Quite spacious so it is usually easy to find a place to sit, wide variety in beers and spirits and friendly staff. In the back of the bar there is a smoking room which is a big plus for the smokers who are sick of having to go outside and under the rain to have a cig! You can actually sit and have your drink in the smoking room but beware, there is no ventilation in there so be ready to have that great smell of smoke on...
