Horia - Oriental Natural Eatery — Restaurant in Brussels

Last weekend I was in Brussels. The weather was very nice. I wanted to come and check out this place for a long time. The reviews are good, the food looks right up my ally. I walked by (quite early in the evening) and the terrace showed 3 tables of 2 persons still available. One had a reservation card on it, so I wanted to sit at one of the two other tables. The waiter came to me and when he realized that I was only one person, all of a sudden all tables outside where under reservation ... but I could still sit inside, he told me. I understand that it's a hard business, but if you don't want my money when I'm alone, I guess you also don't want it when I, after deciding the food might have been as good as the reviews say, would have come back with more people. One of the rare 100% organic restaurants in Brussels. Everything is fenomenal, the food, the welcome, the place. My absolute favourite is Horia platter, a delicious combination of salads, hummus, grilled veggies... just divine. Stuffed aubergine is equaly great. The absolute star by far is the bread, oh my god - freshly baked, crispy on the top and just plain wonderful, remainds me of "simit" type of bread my grandma made in the cast oven. This place is quite famous in Google search when it comes to Middle East food in the center of Brussels. I found the food very good but I must say that the outstanding item in this restaurant was the bread. We got this absolutely fresh, soft inside, with a wonderful crispy crust on the outside bread that blew my mind. The most wonderful part was when we got a few extra pieces to finish our meal.
