We went for a meal last night. I ordered a medium steak blue white. The steak that arrived was absolutely stunning, but it was not what I asked for. The steak was definitely rare. I would expect to have the steak cooked to how I like it, if I am paying a lot of money. The chips were very oily, and I couldn’t finish them for that reason. We were offered condiments and we accepted presuming they were complimentary. However they were a euro extra for each, and we would have appreciated the warning as we then wouldn’t have accepted any. Finally, nobody came to check that out food was ok as we were eating. I appreciate it was a busy saturday night, but most good restaurants we visit are keen to check on us. Overall, it was an underwhelming experience. By all means if you like a BEAUTIFUL steak then do visit!!! but be mindful about some shortcomings in the experience!

Craving some hearty, flame-grilled steak, we headed to The Meat Factory—and it didn’t disappoint. Like any good steakhouse, the atmosphere was just right: dim lighting, neon accents, and a steady buzz of energy (in the best possible way). We kicked off with the trio of croquettes and were met with a generous portion for two. Between the cheese, black Angus, and shrimp options, we were spoilt for choice. Also—whatever that salad dressing was, more please. For mains, I went with my usual medium-well ribeye, while my friend opted for the filet mignon. Both were expertly cooked—juicy, flavourful, and rich without being overwhelming. The mash on the side was buttery, well-seasoned, and the perfect pairing. All in all, a strong choice for steak in Brussels. The team were friendly and welcoming throughout. Great stuff.

Our experience at Meat Factory was great — the food was delicious, the service was attentive, and there was a great choice of beverages. I appreciated the service’s advice on the type of meat to choose. I tried the horse steak, which was good but had a specific taste and texture. It was herby and really soft, which felt a bit strange. I’d recommend it only if you’ve tried horse meat before. No complaints to the kitchen, as it was well-prepared, but if I were to order again, I’d go for the ribeye. Overall, the place feels a tiny bit overrated for its meat, as you can find similar quality elsewhere, but still deserves for its five stars.

I recently visited Meat Factory in Brussels, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place meant serious business when it comes to quality meat. The atmosphere is vibrant and contemporary, with a modern industrial feel that complements their focus on high-end cuts. The selection of meats is incredible—whether you're into steaks, burgers, or unique cuts, they’ve got you covered. I opted for the dry-aged rib-eye, and it was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The marbling was on point, and it practically melted in my mouth. My friend had the Wagyu burger, and it was just as delicious. The sides are also fantastic—crispy fries, creamy mashed potatoes, and fresh salads.

What really sets this place apart is the service. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations. They were happy to answer all of my questions about the different cuts and how they were sourced, which made the experience feel even more personal.

I also loved that they have a great selection of craft beers and wines to pair with your meal, and the dessert—rich chocolate mousse—was the perfect way to end a great meal. If you're a meat lover in Brussels, Meat Factory should be at the top of your list. I can’t wait to go back for another meal. Highly...

We went out to this place in search of a nice steak dinner to pair with our visit to Bozar, and this was one of the best rated places in Brussels, but I honestly don't understand why.

We came in on a weekday night at around 6, there were about 4 tables occupied, and only one waiter on staff who was not paying attention. Took a fair while (15-20 minutes) for us to order anything at all, and all the while the tables next to us were waiting for cleaning and one had apparently ordered a drink before we even got in and hadn't even gotten it when we finally ordered.

We had the BA steak and ribeye, and because of the reviews and the price (39 for a ribeye) we expected at least something good, but to be honest it was fairly disappointing overall. The preparation was decent, medium rare, but I guess the quality of the meat itself is just not great. It was pretty bland, no real flavour, and the fat wasn't rendered properly so it was pretty chewy to begin with. For this price I expected good quality meat, and this just wasn't it. Grocerystore levels.

I get that things can go wrong, but you can't skimp on quality, and in combination with the poor staff it is baffling to me that this place has so many stars on so...

Fantastic food, nice cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff.

I was there in August 2025 and had the Entrecôte Cheesburger with Croquettes which was fantastic. The sauce, the pickles together with the 200g beef just fit perfectly.

My grandpa hat the Belgium Specialty, a beefstew, with fries and it was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly tender beef goulash with a deliciously seasoned sauce to it. May even be the best goulash I’ve ever eaten in my life (because I tried the beef and dipped my croquettes in the sauce).

My grandma had the Chicken burger with fries which I didn’t try but she said it was delicious as well. As a German, I can only recommend the large Stella Artois, a light blonde beer that just fit overall to the food.

I can only imagine the steaks being too good as well there.

We sat outside and the place was not too full, it was a chill atmosphere really. The fellow who served us was very funny and kind.

Overall I can’t say a negative thing about this restaurant and I would go there again 100%. Definitely worth a visit if you like meat...
