We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant, which is a shame because it was my friend’s birthday and she had recommended the place. From the beginning, the waitress was sarcastic and dismissive toward us.
We asked for the table by the window, which had a reserved sign on it. Since the restaurant was not busy, she could have simply moved the reserved sign to another table. In fact, that’s exactly what she ended up doing—but only after giving us a lot of attitude. The whole situation felt unnecessary and left us uncomfortable from the start.
What felt even worse was the difference in treatment. The table next to us, who happened to be Caucasian, was greeted with smiles and warmth. Our group—Spanish, Thai, and myself Filipino-American—was instead met with eye-rolling and rudeness. I sincerely hope this was not discrimination, but the contrast was hard to ignore. When I asked her about it, she said it was because she had brought the other table drinks. I explained that we were also four women celebrating a birthday, ready to order generously, yet we received no courtesy. She had no response—just more eye-rolling.
I want to stress that I’ve worked in the customer service industry myself, so I always try to approach situations with empathy. I even tried to meet her with kindness, but she continued to be rude.
When I asked to speak to the manager, she looked me in the eye and told me there wasn’t one on duty. This was a blatant lie—because as we were leaving, we saw the manager, who was kind and apologetic, and completely unlike the waitress. That dishonesty made the situation even more unacceptable.
We don’t recommend this location. The 3.7-star rating speaks for itself. In a city as international as Brussels, where people of many languages and backgrounds come together, every customer deserves to be treated with patience...
Accès : NON ACCESSIBLE AUX PERSONNES A MOBILITÉ REDUITE.

Read moreGreat restaurant with a big variety of tapas ! As a vegan, it’s not always easy to find a restaurant where I can eat, but this one had a few vegan/vegetarian tapas. The food was excellent. The service was nice and our waitress helped me a lot identifying what I could eat on the menu! It’s always nice. The place in itself is nice. The decoration is typically Spanish. There were too many pieces of dead animals hanging around for me, but I’m sure it looks yummy for others! The prices were reasonable. We took a menu of 6 tapas for 30€ and a bottle of house...
