La Zigounette — Restaurant in Brussels

We arrived early for our chocolate museum tour and decided to grab a snack. The place was located right in front of Manneken Pis and was extremely crowded on a Saturday afternoon.

It had various waffles, drinks, and amusing, quirky models that made it fun. Despite the crowd, there was only one staff member inside who seemed to ignore us for a few minutes. When we eventually interacted, the staff member was not very friendly and had trouble understanding my order, which was awkward.

I ordered a waffle with Nutella and strawberries and a coffee, which we ate near Manneken Pis. The taste was pretty standard with nothing particularly special, and the price was around €8, which seems reasonable given the location and cost of living.

While the location benefits from being a tourist hotspot, improving the service could make the experience...

For it's location and busy shop the staff attitude, service and pack of customer care is teroucious to say the least.

The girl who served me was rude and passive aggressive, I asked for 4 waffles, she used her hands instead of a tong or a glove!!! Rusley said the price is for 8, which I said I was willing to pay the price for 8 but wanted 4, anyways that hurdle passed, despite seating area in the shop they don't let you sit there and eat your anack, you have to leave the shop and find somewhere to sit, the most ridiculous thing I had seen in a food establishment.

Would give this place a zero or negative star of I could, just walk a bit further, there are plenty more waffle places and chocolate shops...

La Zigounette offers an interesting concept with its location near the iconic Manneken Pis, but unfortunately, the quality of the products is just mediocre. The staff's treatment of customers feels cold and indifferent, which detracts from the overall experience. Additionally, the prices are quite high considering the quality of the offerings. If you're curious and want to try it for the experience, it might be worth a visit, but there are definitely much better options in the area. Overall, it deserves a...
