Simply the Best: La Friterie in Brussels is a Must-Visit for Foodies

As a high-level Local Guide on Google Maps, I have had the pleasure of visiting many great places, but I have to say that La Friterie in Brussels stands out as one of the best. With five stars out of five, this place is simply the best for foodies looking for authentic Belgian fries.

The ambiance of La Friterie is inviting and cozy, with a casual and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The service is prompt and attentive, and the staff is always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions you may have.

Now let's talk about the fries. La Friterie's fries are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with just the right amount of salt. They are served in a cone and come with a variety of sauces to choose from, including the classic Belgian mayonnaise and ketchup.

What sets La Friterie apart from other fry places is the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. The fries are made fresh and cooked to order, ensuring that they are always hot and crispy. The sauces are also homemade and bursting with flavor.

If there is one criticism I have heard from other visitors, it's that the portion sizes are a bit small. While I do agree that the portions could be a bit larger, I believe that the quality of the fries more than makes up for it.

To improve, La Friterie could consider adding more seating or expanding their menu to include other Belgian specialties, such as waffles or stoemp.

Overall, I highly recommend La Friterie to anyone visiting Brussels. This place is simply the best for authentic Belgian fries, and the experience is sure to leave you satisfied. As someone who has given five stars out of five, I would like to express my gratitude to the owners and staff for their hard work and dedication to providing such a great experience. I am looking forward to coming back and trying more of their...

We had great experience in la friterie. As tourists in Brussels, we wanted to try the traditional fries. We had a great experience here. They have many sauces to choose, the service was great, we had to spend some time reading the menu to be able decide what sauce we wanted to pick, the person at the cashier was very friendly and patient with us, also he made some recommendations. We loved to see how they use fresh ingredients, the cut the potatoes just right before to put them on the oil. The large size is enough for two people who are not too hungry This place has a great location. You can grab your fries after finishing your tour just next to the...

Great place for frites!. Remanicent of the old seinfeld episode about soup!. Get in line, move the length of the counter against the back wall, step ipbto the register and then shuffel along the counter back towards the door. Pick up yoir frites at the end of the counter. Make sure you keep moving, or they'll let you know (nicely). Belgians speak French and so US soldiers in WWI called them French fries vice Belgian fries! Great frites, great experience and...

This friterie is a typical representation of Belgium’s beloved fry culture, offering thick-cut fries served in paper cones—a common sight across the country. While it’s always interesting to try a local staple, I personally didn’t quite understand the hype. The fries here are on the chunkier side; some were nicely crispy on the outside and soft inside, but others lacked consistency. Overall, it’s a decent stop for a traditional Belgian snack, but nothing particularly memorable.
