I will not be returning... I have gone to cowboys multiple times and I've never been impressed, the staff is very unfriendly and the bouncers in particular seem to always be on a power trip (I actually feel a little unsafe around some of them). I continued to go though because that's where friends were.
I reached my breaking point however during stampede this year (2024). My friend and I went to the dance hall to see a DJ set. A littler after the set had started and I had to go to the washroom, my friend stayed on the dance floor dancing. While in the washroom I received a phone call from her and she told me she was being kicked out. I was beyond confused and when I asked her why she said that the bouncer said she was too drunk. (I do not believe she was drunk enough to be kicked out considering how drunk most people are in there. I'm not going to blame them for this as I had been drunk that night which could have hindered my judgement) The reason she was kicked out is not why I am mad it is how it was handled. At this point the phone call was over and i started to look for her. It took me a while to find her and when i did she was outside the build sitting on the sidewalk alone. And that's what I have a problem with. If some is too drunk to be in a bar they should not under any circumstances be left outside ALONE. the bouncer should have stayed with her until I got there or she got a cab. It is late at night she is drunk she is young and she is alone. Bars have a duty of care and I do not believe that they preformed that duty. As a large establishment like this, which has a lot of very young adults at it they should have a protocol in place for this.
I also want to note the lack of knowledge the staff had. When I talked to the safe at the entrance to the casino about who had kicked her out, what the protocol is, etc. I received "I don't know" as an answer.
And to add more the customer service is unacceptable. I contact the company through their website a few days after this experience and I still have not received a response. (I posted this review so late as I was waiting to see if they would respond)
I find the way they handle things to be repulsive. They fail to create a safe environment.
Also it should be noted that i have heard of similar things happening to...
Read moreSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL TIMES. Their security team are brainless and rude guys that don't have any idea how to treat guests. They let the ladies get drunk until they collapse and they tolerate everything they do, while a guy shows little or no sigh of being drunk and they are escorted out. I saw ladies having trios on the dance floor and practically having sex and no one said or did anything. The ladies touch in appropriately to any one they want of course and they are okay. I guy, however does that, even the police is involved, they are pictured and filed as sexual predators. I Happened to be there for the first time as I was the chosen driver for the night. I was sit dow on a barstool in a bar a side of the dance floor, just having water and I saw this lady in the middle of two guys indulging herself with the machos performance and actually few of guess were just kind of enjoying the view. One of the guys disappeared and she was left with just one guy in front of her. Another guy came out of now where and replace graciously the missing guy. As drunk as she was she got offended, I would believe and started to push violently the guy behind her. The guy as I could see, wasn't drunk. The guy decided to take off to avoid confrontation. Then out not where this drunk and filthy lady came directly to me and start pushing me and telling me why I have touched her in appropriately. I told her to please stop doing that as I have nothing to do there. Obviously she was 100% intoxicated. Then she went to security guys and complained about me. the security guy came and says they don't need any proof as she complained first and asked to leave the place. He wouldn't listen, wouldn't care about me and he added he was doing me a favour by not reporting me to the police. I am a fine gentlemen, well educated from a great family and with outstanding reputation, who was elegantly dressed and as always I was using the best of my social skills to greed and share the place in a polity and respectfully with every one, who was scored out in a rude and not even close to a professional way. If you are a great guy, great person don't take the risk of going there you are in danger. Of course not...
Read moreI'm the type to not leave a bad review when I don't like a certain service and keep my opinions privately instead, but this one is different. The management literally do not care if people lose their hard earned money for a concert that they rescheduled and would not even bother notifying you through email that they rescheduled it, no single email was sent the moment they cancelled the concert tickets I purchased. I originally purchased the Metro Boomin + Partynextdoor for July 7th, and they changed the lineup and date into Metro Boomin + Swae Lee + Lil Jon for July 9th about 3 weeks before the said concert. I only found out about 10 days before the event that they rescheduled it through a friend. My piece of advice for buying Cowboys Music Festival Concert tickets would be to just buy it at the door because you'll never know when they'd reschedule an event and still hold you accountable for not being able to make it to their rescheduled concert even when you're scheduled to work that day. They will always pull up the words "The purchased tickets are final sale." I'm not the only one who was unable to get refund. There are other people as well who was on the same boat as me. After sending out multiple emails and trying to reach out through dms almost every day, they just advised me to try selling it to friends and family or somewhere else as if I have the capacity to resell both tickets a few days before the said concert. If I could rate this business a 0, I would. The management needs to be more accountable when it comes to these issues and not take advantage of...
