We were suggested to go in here vs the five fishermen that was upstairs (full). We decided with the options to go ahead and eat at the little fish. My husband's meal, the seabass, was amazing and he was very happy. My surf and turf did not come rare, but medium instead, and the lobster tail meat was significantly smaller than the tail it came in, plus no butter to dip in. I also never got the glass of water for my meal that I requested. However the ambiance and decor was lovely and everyone was very friendly. A little expensive for the portions I got as well.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had dinner at Little Fish Wine Bar & Grill and enjoyed a pleasant meal overall. While it didn’t quite match the experience we’d had earlier in the day at The Bicycle Thief, the seafood was still fresh and nicely prepared. Prices here are quite reasonable, especially compared to what you’d pay for similar dishes elsewhere in Canada. The atmosphere was relaxed, and service was friendly. A solid choice if you’re looking to enjoy seafood in the Atlantic Provinces without breaking the bank.

Super cozy place, intimate ambiance and amazing food! The menu is a “tapas inspired” menu but great for sharing and enjoying with some drinks. All food was amazing, the fish tacos, fish cakes and shrimp were fantastic and we tried the fish and chips as a main, which was to die for. They had live music with an amazing singer/guitar player that made the evening that much more enjoyable!

All around disappointing dinner. We were seated outside at a table with a long streak of bird poop - we should've just left then, but we stayed. Food was average at best - my wife had the salmon which she said was just OK. I had the Crobster roll which is apparently an excuse to put only one piece of lobster on a tiny roll along with a little bit of crab salad. There are way better lobster rolls in nearby restaurants for the same price or cheaper. Service was substandard as well. The waitress was extremely inattentive and had to be called over every time to get any service. This included us never being provided napkins or silverware until after our main courses arrived. My wife's salad was dropped off and since there was no silverware, she couldn't eat it. It wasn't until another 20 minutes before wait staff appeared to serve our main courses that we could request to have silverware so that we could actually eat our meals, and even then it took over 5 minutes for someone to return with silverware. Additionally my son's hamburger was brought out well before our meals, and he requested some mayonnaise for his burger. Ten minutes later no mayo, and I had to track down the waitress to make the request again. Little Fish shares a building, hostess, and I can only assume a kitchen with the highly rated Five Fisherman restaurant. However, based on my experience at Little Fish, I wouldn't even consider eating at Five Fisherman now. There are plenty of better...

Restaurant goers heed caution. This restaurant left everything to be desired. The food was mediocre and the service was atrocious. My table ordered the following:

-Surf & turf (steak was decently cooked;however, this should be renamed to Surf only. The lobster was undetectable visually and in taste in their bearnaise sauce -Veggie spaghettini (bland) -Scallops (well seasoned but over cooked so they had a rubbery texture) -Steamed mussels (decently seasoned and cooked -Halibut (well seasoned and cooked)

Aside from the food, the service (or lack there of) left the worst taste in my mouth. To say our waitress was inattentive would be an understatement because she was absent most of the night. Guests who arrived after us received their children's food before our drinks arrived. Normally, this would not be a big deal; however, when you have a clear view of your drinks (mostly waters and a few cocktails) and know they have been sitting there for 30 minutes, it becomes a big deal because the cocktails are now watered down. The waitress also did not offer an apology because I am sure she was hoping we did not notice.

There were many other instances of horrendous service but I do not want this review to become a novel. In conclusion, this restaurant is not worth going to. If you have 5 - 10 additional minutes please walk down to Salty's. I am not confident you will like the food better; however, I am confident they will treat you infinitely better. In fact, most...

Tried here for lunch on a gorgeous Tuesday in July. They have a few nice patio tables set up out front, but we took a booth inside where it was cool. Two tables already were taken inside at noon, and maybe only another filled up within the hour. Nice, cozy, yet somewhat bright atmosphere with brickwork original walls, seating for maybe 60 with tables and large booths. Prompt friendly service. They had the Seafood Fest Menu available (which I am not too familiar with, and was tempted to get their seafood spaghettini, but decided to just get something off the regular menu instead.) The Summer Salad ($12 Arugula salad with watermelon, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, basil goats cheese and a watermelon vinaigrette) was very flavorful, pretty in presentation, and just a good small size as a starter. The Shrimp Tacos ($11 Two flour tortilla tacos topped with marinated coldwater shrimp, mango coulis, melon salsa, arugula and a chili sauce.) were good, served cold, a bit messy. My friend tried the Fish & chips ($16 Two pieces of fresh haddock battered and deep fried. Served with frozen fries and coleslaw). It wasn't anything unique or amazing, but definitely satisfying and tasty. I definitely do want to come back here and try more...
