If you're heading to a concert at Scotiabank Arena, you can't ask for a better location. Despite how busy this place is, service is excellent. They have separate servers for drinks and food - I think this plays a big part in how quickly they can serve. The food was excellent. Classic pub fare. I opted for the club, and the wife had chicken tenders. Both were great.

Its been awhile since my last visit, maybe to long. About 25 years ago I used to go there for their hot hamburger with fries and gravy because it was one my favorite places to stop for lunch. The staff are friendly, the service is great and the hot hamburger is still amazing. Thanks for the wonderful meal 😋 see ya all the time, thanks.

It's exactly as the name implies: middle of town for food and quality. Not fine dining: just good quality pub food. They don't play games with pricing: full pint is $7 and half pint is $3.50. You'll notice the same honesty with the menu pricing: very fair and reasonable. Also, the cheeseburger is fantastic and obviously not from a box.

Five dollars does not seem like a lot of money until you pay cover here. Sundays are intended to be an attraction at this place due to the cheap drinks but there was hardly a soul in there well into the night. There is no cheap drink price that could make up for the appalling behaviour of the staff here. The only few professional employees were at the door checking ID’s and behind the bar. The dirty bathroom was shocking, but it was the behaviour of two bouncers that sickened me and evoked this review. A male and female employee were loudly discussing bigoted and discriminatory views to the right hand corner of the dance floor opposite the bar. The female bouncer involved in the conversation loudly said two slurs against the LGBTQ+ community. When attempting to bring this to the attention of management/any higher power, it was taken almost as jokingly as the two employees when called out for their behaviour. it is clear this attitude runs deep through the establishment. The behaviour exhibited tonight was appalling, specifically during pride month. You would have hope any bartender, other bouncer or employee would exhibit any kind of care or concern against this behaviour but it became clear this was a shared attitude of this establishment. Extremely disappointing that this is not remotely a safe space for for anyone of the LGBTQ+community. I wish I had the names of the individuals mentioned in this review but they refused to provide them when asked. It seems as though there is no authority or higher power this can reported to so one star serves as an extremely generous review...

Old school sports bar. Even though it moved a few blocks years ago, it's a staple of downtown, especially before Mooseheads games. Was there last week, and it had been some time since the time before. Both times I ordered the hot hamburger sandwich with peas and fries, gravy on the side.

The quality was still there, the portion size was generous, and the price was not up in the nosebleed section.

They could have a couple more craft beer options, but I guess most people going to events just love their Coors/Budwieser/Keith's/Molson, or other generic beers.

Still, food was good, price was right, we think, because after we paid, a server visited us across the street at Roxy's saying we still had a tab. Just a little confusion, but it all...

Extremely rude service from the bartenders after not receiving a tip on 1 round of drinks. As opposed to the rest of the orders bartender says "I would have poured more if you tipped" why would I want to tip at all with that attitude you shouldn't be working at a bar especially after being tipped already. And was given the wrong drink on the order after this one. They truly don't care about their costumers having a good time it seems. Definitely would not recommend this place. Especially when's theirs a great bar just across the street and around the corner that tops this...
