Café Johannsen — Restaurant in Mont-Tremblant

BEWARE. Intentionally overcharge tourists. I ordered a parfait and a small 250mL wine. The woman in the photo tried to charge me $44. I inquired about the price. She acted surprised and tried to argue, then adjusted the price down slightly and asked if it was good, like we were haggling by a roadside stand. It was bizarre and obviously intentional. Staff of 3 people stood behind the bar laughing and carrying on, texting and watching videos on their phones, while piles of empty cups, napkins, trash and food were all over the restaurant. Food ground into the floor and trash on every surface. I was there for nearly 2 hours and they never once came out to pick up or clean anything. An absolute disgrace. They interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to order, so they could laugh and talk to each. My purchased was prepackaged, but I heard others complaining about the food. A terrible experience all around. I hope the Tremblant resort does something to address this, as it does not reflect the excellent service and attention to detail throughout the rest...

Extremely Rude Staff. Specially Mr. Louis-Alexandre Parent and the Entrance Lady.

Mr. Parent came inside the restroom to shout to me, inside the men restroom, and continued in the coffee shop. Complaining about something the entrance lady lied about.

Unbelievable how rude Mr. Parent was. And the rest of the staff present too (3 extra people). They did nothing to create a better environment.

I’ve never seen such a BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Avoid this cafe. Save your time and money. Coffee and food isn’t even good.

Hopefully the owner or person in charge could take some consequences to this behavior. Or better shut the place down if you guys don’t wanna service...

I was standing there drinking terrible bread and coffee, and I was just trying to find a chair to sit down and rest, when suddenly a female employee yelled directly at my child that she shouldn't eat chips in it. The startled child had to stop eating right away. As a mother, I showed her the coffee I was drinking and said undersand, sorry. I apologized for ending the situation quickly, but this is the first time I've never ever had something like this happen before I finished my coffee. It was very rude to yell at a child directly. I should have gone after reading the previous reviews. I regret it so much. I will never go to this unpleasant...
