I recently visited Mont Tremblant and had the pleasure of trying one of their famous beaver tails. I decided to go for the classic poutine option and boy, was it delicious! The beaver tail itself was perfectly crispy on the outside and doughy on the inside, making for the perfect base to support the generous toppings of cheese curds, gravy, and crispy fries. Each bite was a heavenly mix of savory goodness and I couldn't get enough of it.
The quality of the ingredients used and the attention to detail in preparation really shone through in this dish. The cheese curds were perfectly melted and gooey, while the gravy had just the right amount of saltiness to balance out the richness of the cheese. The fries were crispy and added a much needed texture contrast to the dish. I have to admit, I was hesitant about the idea of beaver tails at first, but after trying it for myself, I can definitely understand why they are so popular in this part of Canada.
Overall, I had an amazing experience trying a beaver tail in Mont Tremblant and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and unique culinary experience. The poutine option was particularly exceptional and I will definitely be coming back for more on my next trip to the area. If you're visiting Mont Tremblant, don't miss out on this...
Read moreIt says something about how woeful Mont Tremblant food options are when the best thing you eat is from a tiny fast food stall that focuses on selling one thing. But when that one thing is a deliciously scrumptious beavertail (essentially a thin doughy pastry in the shape of a long pizza), perhaps all things aren't too bad in the world.
I ordered one, loved it so much I ordered another, and loved that so much I ordered a third. All while standing up outside in the snow. Per the server's recommendations, I went with the simpler flavor options (such as cinnamon, or sugar, or nutella) as opposed to fancier options (which I thought might distract from the pastry dough itself). Everything I ate was a winner, and I would 100% go back here (perhaps even every day) on a future trip to...
Read moreI was very unimpressed with my experience here. I ordered a bananarama beaver tail, and once I got it it was covered in old brown mushy overripe bananas. I was shocked. I then went to request to replace the beaver tail, and the worker was very rude and demanded that I try the mushy banana (which | did) and still demanded I eat the brown bananas and was very pushy and rude. I swear these bananas looked like they came out of the dumpster. But I stood my ground, and I demanded they give me a new beaver tail. I then got the new beaver tail, but very bad experience. If your gonna get beaver tails in tremblant, go to the one at the bottom of the village, they...
