Great Thursday fish fries. Very well organized. Friendly ladies greet you and take payment. They provide you with a ticket and number. You need to let them know if sitting outside. There are many large tables inside and outside. Very much like family seating. Go to bar to order drinks, excellent draught on tap. Nice young residents bring your orders to the table when ready. Be sure to leave a tip for servers when paying at table. Take out available.

We came to Niagara on the Lake for the Shaw Festival and smelled the wonderful Legion Fish Fry as we drove past. How lucky we were to find they open to the public on Thursdays. What a treat - sharing a picnic table with some locals and enjoying a scrumptious beer batter fish fry - one of the best I’ve ever had.

Excellent live music event and drinks on Labour Day long weekend. we are not members and were staying in NOTL just for the weekend; the people at this Legion could not have been more welcoming. Great band and vibes here

Last year I held my wedding reception at the Niagara on the Lake Legion. We had looked at many wineries but made the decision that great food and fantastic entertainment was more important. Working with the Legion we were able to splurge on a fantastic caterer (Pig Out) and hire a 15 piece band from Toronto (with a 7 person horn section). The folks at the Legion were great to work with. They ordered the wine, beer and spirits of our choice, provided bartenders, cutlery, plates, stage, etc. Allowed us to set up the day prior; and even gave us room in their fridges to store the left over food and pick up the next day. We decorated the room with flowers and candle light, plus purchased lines and chair covers (which we donated to the legion). The final effect was wonderful and the cost a fraction of what it would have cost elsewhere. If you have vision this spot...

We did not go in so I can't comment on the interior, ect. because it was pick up only because of lockdown. However, we were driving by and on Thursday afternoons, from 4 to 7, they have their weekly FishFry. It was absolutely the best fish 'n chips we've had in a very very long time. The haddock piece was generous and lightly battered, and the french fries were fresh, not frozen, and it came with a half a cup of coleslaw. 1 piece meal was $10 and 2 pieces was $13. We loved it and are planning to go up that way again on a Thursday afternoon and possibly eat on...

This place should be torn down. It wreaks of cigarettes and the atmosphere is like a derelict banquet hall. They have cracked canoe light beer which is hard to find so I had high hopes for this place since the prices are good too but when a local judged me for having a half pint light beer assuming I was going to breastfeed right afterwards was inexcusable. The people who frequent here are rough around the edges so not really a family friendly place. Stay away if you want a nice experience. Patio is...
