Sincerely Disappointed. I'd like to preface by saying I liked this place and went many times. Even before this negative experience as I was talking to my friend, we were both saying how the family that runs it is so nice, however now my opinion has now changed.

I wanted a Super Deluxe breakfast Sandwich ($6.50 - comes with bacon, egg, cheese) but they were out of eggs at that point - no problem, instead, since they were out of egg, I asked if they could swap the egg for more bacon, which they did. When I get to the checkout he rings me up for $8.50, an extra $2 for the bacon they added instead of the egg. I said this isn't correct, I got the super deluxe which is $6.50 and substituted the egg for bacon since you were out of egg. This was not acceptable for them, so in they end they took back the sandwich, took off the extra single strip of bacon, threw it in the garbage and gave me back the "Super Deluxe" still without an egg or any substitutions. So I ended up paying the $6.50 but got an incomplete sandwich.

I was so disappointed at how rude and unpleasant they were at handling such a simple substitution, and the fact that they would rather waste food and disappoint a customer rather than make a simple substitution and keep happy customers is...

I very much enjoyed my experience and the costing of my lunch at Lite Bite. Having worked in the financial district for quite some time, I was surprised that I hadn't heard of this place until now. A helpful colleague mentioned this spot as a great cost-friendly option and I had to check it out! It is a very unassuming establishment, looking more like a convenience store on the outside, but once you get inside feels more like a sub/diner type place. I was impressed by the variety of offerings from breakfast to lunch with salad, subs, wraps and specials. What was even more impressive was the staff and the price. Some of the wraps were $7.95 incl. tax!! I ordered a chicken wrap with some tzatziki and feta, which still came to

For what it is, it is great. Classic breakfast & lunch counter. Glad they survived the major shutdowns as I've been coming here for years like a lot of people who work in the core. Not aware of anywhere nearby quite like it.

Portions are good, price is fair, food is fresh and tasty. You should almost always get a special: there typically seems to be a pasta dish, a mixed plate and something else that can be remixed into a sandwich/sub option and it changes daily.

There's enough regular sandwich options that you can find something to interest you, but not so many that you're stuck in lines. Even at noon they move quickly, though the staff always seems nice. Random grab and go desserts, snacks and baked goods as well as drinks round it out.

Bring cash if you want them to like you more. Great place for fast lunch...

The experience is precisely as many users have shared. Their service is exceptional and i wonder how they manage to be consistent! They know their customers and immediately recognized that i was the 1st timer when i asked them about โ€˜assorted subโ€™. A cashier stepped out to the customer side and explained the complete menu to me !! Wow who does that in this era ! You feel the warmth of your hometown (while the cuisines may differ), seems to be family run. Its a no-fuss food, simple & easy to digest. Priced at what your meal should cost you. A small take-out place. Yes, now I get it, why most of the people walked in as if to their own kitchen!! P.S. i recommended the place to my spouse, and she had the same experience -> the cashier quickly hopped out to help her ! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I went on a Tuesday morning, there wasnโ€™t a long line, and they seem to be very efficient with their service. The staff are also very friendly and I appreciate that they informed me of their daily special. I ordered a Super Deluxe Bacon, Egg, Cheese & Tomato on an Everything Bagel and I asked for extra mayo. Overall, it was a very delicious sandwich. The bagel was tasty and wasnโ€™t too dense. The bacon was pretty thick too. All for $6 which is a pretty decent price for the quality and portion. Overall, I would go back and order the same thing. Unfortunately breakfast ends at 10:30am.

Hidden gem in Fi Di or Ent. Di. 5 stars for the bang for your buck you get at this place. Loved their sub sandwich with pulled chicken and bacon/ chicken parm sandwich/ souvlaki chicken on rice/ fish cutlets! Quality and the level of doneness of meat is generally amazing! The touch of butter and mayo on either side of my sub insides added to the flavour.. they also have freshly baked muffins!! Overall, a highly recommended take out place . Esp. In these times when you get nothing for 15 bucks!
