Can’t even say it has the looks for instagram. My dear elderly aunt got fooled by this fancy looking cake shop and ordered the MOCHA FANTASY CAKE and it was a horrendous sight post Christmas lunch. Not only did they fail to confirm the pick up date ( the receipt only shows the pick up time but not date ) but the cake it self was sweating and melting some how when they handed it off to my aunt ? Like she’s walking distance from the shop and it was picked up Christmas Eve. No one took a photo of the cake because it was laughable. $40 barely 8 inch cake with RAINBOW BEADS trimming (melting) + SMILEY FACE MARSHMALLOWS (2x) + melting rice paper Santa cut out (2x) half curled and disintegrating….. the mocha mouse was fine - anyone with some cooking skills can make that and pour into a mold. What’s more surprising …then you get sprinkled chocolate like pebbles inside the cake … For this price I can get a refined cake at Delysèes that has a richer flavour and professional aesthetic overall ( and service) Don’t waste your money here - go to an established cake shop or your neighbours basement cake shop. This place is for people who are just starting out in their culinary journey of eating with the camera first and likes anything everyone else posts online … do yourself a favour and put that $ elsewhere I just feel bad for my 75+ aunt who made the trek over and got duped and the young lady gives her grief on the phone for confirming pick up date so much so I had to hear about it from my aunt Also the cake just doesn’t taste right - come on smiley face marshmallows? EDIT: Guess what - found a photo from a family member of their left over piece, enjoy.

It’s a small spot near Union Station, tucked away in Toronto’s underground PATH. There are just a few tables — perfect for coffee, desserts, and light snacks. They also serve ice cream — both sorbets and gelatos. I’ve combined a couple of visits into this single review. Sorbet: Passionfruit + Cassata Gelato and Rafaello Gelato The coconut flavor in the Rafaello gelato was rich, with delicate coconut shavings. Its sweet creaminess paired beautifully with the fresh, pleasantly tart Passionfruit sorbet, creating a great contrast. However, I was far more impressed by the so-called Cassata Gelato. Why “so-called”? Because a classic Sicilian Cassata gelato traditionally features multiple layers of different gelato flavors, candied fruits, and almond-infused marzipan. In this case, the most important part of the Cassata — the ricotta base — was present, along with tiny chocolate “crumbs.” The rich, creamy sweetness of the ricotta gelato created a wonderfully elegant contrast with the bright, tangy Passionfruit sorbet. Gelato: Melon, Mango, and Crème Caramel The Crème Caramel was overly sweet and rather dull. Even the light, fresh melon gelato couldn’t make the experience much more interesting. The mango gelato was nice, but overall, their gelato selection is noticeably weaker than their cakes. The service is friendly and quick. Overall, it’s a lovely little place for chatting over coffee and dessert — or ice cream, depending on the season and weather.

Very cute spot to sit and grab a treat in the PATH! I saw it a few days ago and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, all the baked goods and treats that they had available at the time contained egg, so I couldn’t try them however, I was encouraged to try the gelato! The staff let us try a couple flavours - sour black cherry and a chocolate. Surprisingly, we got both and really enjoyed that sour black cherry one! Give it a try if you can! Back to the baked goods, they had a vegan option but it was sold out! I think having a couple more eggless options would be nice even having some without an egg wash. The decor is very cute 10/10 lots of golds, pinks and whites - pretty girly but works nicely! The spinning gelato freezer is pretty neat to see. Seating is fairly limited so, be prepared to eat elsewhere. I noticed that they had cakes and an eggless tiramisu, it’s hard to find this and it’s only in large cake form, I hope you guys sell smaller versions for those of us that don’t want the big cake itself! The staff are very kind and are ready to answer any questions. The price is decent for 2 gelato flavours in a small cup. I’ll be visiting again for sure!
