Mister Pizza — Restaurant in Toronto

The worst and the most traumatic customer service experience I've ever experienced in my life. I am giving a 1 star, but this place deserves -100 stars.

My friend and I ordered a large gourmet tandoori chicken pizza, and changed the banana peppers with the roasted red peppers. They got our order wrong, and gave us regular chicken, and our pizza did not even have red peppers on it (it didn't even have banana peppers! so I don't even how how they messed up this bad).

Not only that, but when we confronted them about it asked about the chicken, the cook/manager(his name was Ahmed) lied to our face and told us that it was indeed tandoori chicken. We have ordered from this place before many times and I can assure you that it was not tandoori chicken. It was just regular chicken. Then the cook/manager explained that they ran out the "ingredients" for the spices for tandoori chicken, and that he made his "own spice" to make it a tandoori chicken. This is completely unacceptable and even if that is the case, YOU LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW BEFOREHAND THAT YOU'RE NOT GIVING US WHAT WE 'RE ASKING FOR.

And it does not end there, the manager/cook got so heated by the situation, that he decided to threaten us. YES, threaten us. This person grabs a wooden block and walks all the way across the counter, LOCKS THE DOOR SO WE CANT GET OUT, and gets in my face and threatens me that he will hit me with the block. This behavior is UNACCEPTABLE AND ILLEGAL. I applaud the cashier (the other worker, and a very nice gentlemen that was working there) that got in the way and stopped this mad man from beating me with a block of wood.

We contacted the owner and asked to fire this mad man who seems to be the manager and a cook of this pizza restaurant. The owner said he will figure things out but we WILL come back again, and we want to see this person not working there, because quite frankly their pizza quality is amazing, but they're customer service deserves -100 stars.

We wanted to get the police involved but the nice gentleman(the cashier) was on the verge of having a panic attack and we did not want to make things worst for him. He is a very nice guy and he handled the situation very well. This person deserves a raise. As for the other guy, he deserves to get fired immediately.

I will never set foot in this place as a customer ever again, and I encourage others to do the same unless this...

Weakest pizza my bf and I ever tried here in Canada. There are lots of great pizzas around here but man our first visit was really funny, so was our second and last visit. We’ve never tried that place ever again. First was just for snack so we went to a Mister Pizza and looking for something to try and asked if we could get something like that lol we thought those pizzas were just displays we never thought they were the same pizza we were going to get lol like seriously they look weak af. It’s like a crunchy crust and few cheese and 2 pepperoni if not 3. Toppings were so weak so was the taste. I mean..for the price you pay you could have gotten better than that. Second time we ordered a fresh one hoping it could have been better but nope. It was still weak. Toppings and taste was weak. Third was because we had no choice. We were so hungry it was the only place near us and you know they say once you’re hungry everything will be yummy? Lol nope! Even if we were hungry and starving it was still weak!!! Idk why this pizza is too weak. Never again. It’s too plain and it’s not all that it’s the joke among all pizzas we have ever tried. My bf and I just make it a hobby of always saying Mister Pizza whenever we want to get pizza and we both just laugh about it...

I don't normally rate pizza places but this one is an exception, I have been in the area for 3 years now and have tried the food here more then three dozen times over the years. The dough and the yeast they use is exceptional. Freshly ordered pizzas are incredibly soft and tasty and I have had the same feedback from out of town guests to the point this place has become a late night tradition between a few of them.

The delivery fees are reasonable and ordering through the phone is intuitive with the employees who have offered good advise on upsizing and getting combo specials.

The more important thing for me is I do not eat pork products and have always been envious of meat lovers pizza options at most places and have had to live with overdone vegetarian options or cheese. All the meat here is either beef or chicken, the pepperoni, bacon bits etc are all beef so this is a fairly good spot for Muslim pizza lovers.
