I recently had the pleasure of dining at Piccolo Cafe, and I must say that it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Not only was the food delicious and the ambiance inviting, but our server Kaleb truly went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. His exceptional service elevated our dining experience to new heights.

From the moment we were seated, Kaleb greeted us with a warm smile and a genuine enthusiasm for his work. He exuded professionalism and had an extensive knowledge of the menu, providing insightful recommendations and answering all our questions with patience and expertise. Kaleb's attention to detail was evident as he took the time to explain the ingredients and flavors of each dish, ensuring that we made informed choices.

Throughout the meal, Kaleb's attentive and timely service never wavered. He was always nearby, ready to assist us with any request or refill our glasses with water and the orange wine he recommended was WICKED good. His ability to anticipate our needs was truly remarkable. Despite the restaurant being busy, Kaleb managed to make us feel like valued guests, dedicating his undivided attention to our table.

Ended up in Toronto for a movie. We started our night flipping a coin on the corner and we were not sure where to go. Server Gala struck up conversation with us and let us know about close by. Invited us in for a drink. The more we spoke with our table server Dave. ( found out it was his first shift, super friendly.) We were pointed in the right direction for snacks. Our plate picture is empty because we super hungry and recommend the mushroom toast ! * we tried a bite and didn't stop to take a picture.* I managed to order something that was not on their drink menu. Was not disappointed, the bartender Kyle whipped up a great tequila belnded drink! Not to sweet or alcoholic tasting. Great first night out of 2021.

I went back to Try it again During a stop I found myself in the same area again. Now June 2024 - about 3 years after our first stop in. Food was still delicious and we now have a picture of the mushroom toast, however I feel like everything in life, the size has gotten smaller and price is a lot more. The drinks have gotten very small...

Came for a Sunday brunch and the experience wasn't bad, but not as great as I'd hoped. Between two people, we ordered the tuscan potatoes, sunny chicken parmesan, tofu breakfast sandwich, and a cortado. The tuscan potatoes were mediocre - well seasoned and good cook, but definitely not worth $9 given the portion size and the lack of uniqueness. If the portion size was larger and served with a chipotle mayo or aioli or something more interesting than just ketchup, it could be a $9 plate but as it is right now, not worth the cost. The sunny chicken parmesan was as expected with a beautiful sunny side up egg, no complaints. The tofu breakfast sandwich had great flavour, but the bun was cold which is always disappointing (there were grill marks on the underside of the bun, but the top was cold to the touch and I've got cold hands). The cortado was pretty good, though slightly on the hot side where it could have (but didn't) burnt the milk or beans. The waitress was friendly and attentive, and the...
