Lets start with the hostess, firstly you do not feel welcomed by any staff if the hostess isnt there, they do not acknowledge you, speak to you, or even ask you if you need any assistance, if asked they just tell you to wait for the hostess, who disappears for minutes at a time just leaving you waiting outside like you have nothing better to do with your time, its understandable to be waiting for a few minutes but not so long that you lose patience, they act really difficult when it comes to giving you a table, as if they are the busiest restaurant in the world, and set conditions in by saying we have to return the table, we go in on a monday at 7:15pm, after waiting around for a while the hostess informs us that we have to wait another 20 minutes, after which, she disappears for a good 30 minutes, when we go to enquire, she says we have to return the table by 8:30pm, we got our table at 7:45, how is this even considered dining? The staff is super pressuring when it comes to ordering quick, unresponsive, unwelcoming and super rude, one of the waitresses seemed to really hate her job, and had no patience at all, the food is mediocre , ive had much much better pizza elsewhere for far cheaper, plates and tables are cleared immediately and almost aggressively, the bill was presented to us without asking before we finished our food, did not ask for dessert either, and the bill was just shoved into our face and were made to pay, they were kicking us out, bill was literally presented to us by 8:15pm, service plays such an important role, moreover when the food is mediocre, good service could make up for it this place has none of it from start to finish, the atmosphere is also super cramped, low quality cutlery and everything, waiter does not even remember the drinks order (3 drinks and 2 pizzas) and comes to reconfirm, really would not recommend this place to anyone, super arrogant and disrespectful, seems like the awards have gotten to their head, do not fall for the positive reviews online, seems like they have a lot of media persons covering the place and being paid for promotions and...

Fiata Pizza isn’t just any pizzeria – it’s a world-class dining destination. Ranked #22 on the World’s 50 Best Pizzas, #4 on Asia’s Top 50 Pizzas, and crowned #1 in Hong Kong, Fiata Pizza has earned its reputation as the go-to spot for pizza lovers. Our visit confirmed why it’s so celebrated.
Appetisers Burrata Di Andria IGP Affumicata: A perfect start! The creamy burrata paired with smoked applewood and caramelized red onions was absolutely delightful. Beef Tartare with Pistachio Pesto: A creative twist with pistachio pesto adding a nutty richness. A standout appetiser. Tartufo with Black Truffle Paste: Unfortunately, this fell short. The flavors were bland, and the texture didn’t impress.
Main Course Margarita Pizza: A classic done to perfection. The sourdough base was airy, light, and beautifully textured. Topped with fresh basil and exceptional mozzarella, it’s a traditional pizza you can’t go wrong with. A’ Salsiccia Pizza: The absolute highlight! The Italian sausage and caramelized red onions created a perfect harmony of flavors. This pizza is a must-try and a true showcase of Fiata’s expertise.
Drinks & Desserts Rossetto Cocktail: A refreshing and well-balanced drink that paired perfectly with the meal. Tiramisu: The crown jewel of desserts! Creamy, rich, and authentically boozy, it’s one of the best tiramisus I’ve had in years. Worth visiting for this alone. Cannoli Sicilian: Average and forgettable – not something I’d order again.
Final Thoughts Fiata Pizza lives up to its global acclaim, especially with its outstanding pizzas and select appetisers. The A’ Salsiccia Pizza and Tiramisu are absolute must-tries. While a few dishes missed the mark, the overall experience was fantastic. For anyone seeking the best pizza in Hong Kong – and one of the best in the world – Fiata Pizza is the place to...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant as friends of mine have mentioned good things about it. Sadly I was slightly disappointed. The vibe inside the restaurant (downstairs) seems slightly crammed with relatively loud music and a lot of foot traffic between the tables adding to a rather hectic environment. The service was very friendly executed to a good standard although it felt very rushed. I was quite taken back by the Caprese salad on the menu and am wondering what the thought process behind that dish is? It came out with one whole piece of Mozzarella and various cherry tomatoes cut in half. No seasoning whatsoever, no olive oil or other dressing of some sorts and with one meager leaf of Basil. After asking for olive oil we were eventually given all the tools to make the salad ourselves. To me this wasn't really a proper dish but rather a piece of Mozzarella with tomatoes served on the side. I understand that sometimes you may find it served that way in Italy but then at the same time you would have a whole range of condiments already at your table dress the Caprese to your liking; but that wasn't the case here. The serving of Beef Tartare was sadly similarly underwhelming in terms of presentation and seasoning and did also not come with any sort of side offerings that would act as a suitable vessel for this dish. Maybe I am misunderstanding the concept but in that case a more descriptive menu or guidance by the servers would be warranted. Both the Montanara and Pizza were quite good though especially if you like a big fluffy crust. In terms of neapolitan style Pizza in HK, Fiata is definitely up there. I am hoping to come back on a more relaxed night and maybe stick to their 'dough products' only as it seems it's what...
