Friday night at FINI'S! This is our second time visiting this place, but I would say the food didn't really meet our expectations like last time. We booked at 8 pm but we arrived at the restaurant half an hour earlier than expected. The staff was nice enough to let us in and we were seated at the bar table. The environment was great and the bar seatings are also comfortable. I would recommend sitting there as well if you ever visit since you could directly get your drinks from the bar counter. It was also a pleasure watching the bartender make drinks by the bar.
To begin with, we ordered a drink for each of us first. I ordered a glass of Prosecco ($80) and my boyfriend ordered a cocktail - Aperol Spritz ($80) (Aperol, Prosecco, Soda, Orange Wedge). The drinks were fine and we don't have to finish the drink before the food was served.
The first dish that was served was FINI's Caesar Salad ($120). The salad had a generous amount of dressing and we added smoked salmon on the side. Both were great together and the salad was a good starter. Also, the salad was topped with a generous amount of toasted garlic, which made the salad very tasty.
We only ordered two dishes, and the next one is an 18' pizza. Honestly, we regretted ordering an 18' because it was too big for us and we could barely finish it. Anyways, just a warm reminder that even if you don't order other things like pasta, 12' is way more than enough for a party of 2.
We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Deluxe ($345). When my boyfriend tried it in the Wan Chai branch, they had more shredded cheese and green onions on top. However, the one we tried at the SOHO branch wasn't anything like the one from Wan Chai Branch. There was way too much sauce and not a lot of cheese. We have to ask ourselves for extra green onion as well. Overall, the pizza was quite salty and it didn't taste as good as before.
We didn't order any dessert as we were quite full already, but I would really love to try their skillet cookie next time if I...

The ambience of the restaurant was wonderful. It had a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail in creating a warm and comfortable environment was evident, and it added to the overall charm of the place.
The food at Fini's was both delightful and delicious, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the dishes I ordered. I had the Prosecco fries, fish n' chips along with chopped salad, penne alla vodka and lastly the ovaltine tiramisu. The food was fresh, flavoursome and tasted heavenly. The penne alla vodka was to die for, it was not only rich but also creamy and scrumptious.
Overall, I highly recommend visiting Fini's Italian American. The combination of excellent service, welcoming ambience, and delicious food makes it an exceptional good and the perfect dining experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and look forward to returning...
Read moreBefore having lunch at Fini's I have never ever had a terrible lunch experience in my life. This restaurant's staff could completely changed my mind how RUDE and AGGRESSIVE Hong Kong people can be in food industry.
I had lunch at here with my friend on a non-busy December day in 2022. When I got the table and texted my friend, she yelled at me "SIT DOWN." wow really? Is this an order from the military school? I could just walked away but my friend was on the way. I didn't want to cause the scene.
It got a bit people in the restaurant and they intentionally put all the people at one spot, and the group of local women behind me non-stop coughing without covering her face. And few days after, I got COVID symptom. The restaurant's size is big and put all people at one area so everyone could get the lovely COVID? F- you very much, lovely staff. (Today I wrote this review, I still have coughing and not going away.)
When I had the conversation with my friend, another woman staff sneaky in between my back and other table. At worse, she though she was as thin as a paper. She kept doing that more than 5 times and elbowing my chair. I felt extremely uncomfortable and the food didn't go to my stomach; instead it went to my back!
F- you very much, FINI's Management and Staffs for the LOCALIZING experience. FYI, I am not from here. Don't treat people like a local because you assume they are from here. I would never ever go back. I wish I could give a negative star...
