it's a great place for dinner and family gathering. i was told the food was casual here, like when looking at the menu, there's nothing "wow" but just as usual chinese restaurant - but never under estimate it! indeed, we ordered fried rice, chicken, deep fried prawn toast - they're all common, but really taste excellent! we did talk about it at the dinner - the conclusion was they spent long preparation time to do all the serious work up front, like marinating, using different seasonings, etc. So the food ended up having complicated layer of flavours. and they also control the cooking time very well, this is the skill of the chefs! really appreciated. even the dessert, the walnut sweet soup, was so thick and flavourful. so really don't under estimate this restaurant. it's...
Read moreFirst time here, i am wow-ed by the nice decor, definitely feeling very exclusive! Service is super attentive, making sure all guests are taken care of. Food wise overall they are all very good, especially the sweet & sour pork ribs,the golden shrimp and the spring onion chicken. I think the beef brisket is a bit small in portion and i’m paying for the plate setting rather than the taste.
Since the space is not big and the ceiling is low so the place can get noisy when it’s a full house. That’s probably the only down side if you want to chat over dinner.

I personally don't eat meat but my family do and they enjoyed the restaurants take on steamed fish, chicken. I loved the vegetable claypot casserole with fermented bean curd.
