Unhygienic kitchen, cross contaminate uncooked pork and cooked food.
Most reviews / customers gave good review of the ambience and dish presentation. But I was seated at the Open Kitchen Bar Table, with a full and bird eyes view of the kitchen staff, my review focus on the food preparation.
I had lunch today, 50 minutes duration. One male chef for deep frying, second male chef prepares the cooked food for plate. One female chef on side dishes (rice, salad, noodle). They wear blue medical gloves, same pair of gloves (no change) through my duration.
(1) Male (fryer) chef never washes his hands preparing raw pork, breading it, deep frying same hands handle the cook food and the cook food chopping block
The gloved hands are handling clean and dirty surfaces, touching raw and cooked food. Hands are not cleaned thoroughly before touching cooked food (no washing of hands with detergent). Cross contaminating raw food / dirty surface with cooked food that is served.

Read moreA Korean fried pork cutlet restaurant opened in Central in June. Although I enjoy eating fried food, I haven't tried Korean-style fried pork cutlet before, so I'm not sure how it differs from the Japanese style.
I visited the restaurant around mid-July during weekday lunchtime. There was no need to queue, and although the store wasn't very large, the seating was quite comfortable. The staff provided excellent service.
In terms of price, the fried pork cutlet set meal was reasonably priced. The pork cutlet set was priced at $178, pork fillet or a mix of two options at $188, and an additional $20 for the cheese option. The portions were generous, and they offered unlimited servings of white rice , noodles and salad. The rice and noodles were delicious! I couldn't resist getting a second serving. The side dishes were also good.
The pork cutlet was fried to a crispy texture, and the pork fillet had a slightly pink and perfectly cooked center. However, both meats were not particularly tender and had a bit of chewiness.
If you order the cheese option, it's best to eat it while it's hot because it quickly becomes cold and solidifies, which can be a bit strange. The cheese flavor is not very strong, so it's best to enjoy it while it's still melty and has a...

This popular Seoul pork cutlet spot just opened its first Hong Kong location, and it's a game-changer. The cheese pulls alone were enough to convince me to give it a try!
We went for lunch on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find no wait. The seating was cozy, and the service was excellent—efficient and friendly. We both ordered the Pork Tenderloin & Cheese, which came with a variety of delicious sides: rice, noodles, salad, veggies, kimchi (with free refills!), and an assortment of condiments like wasabi, truffle salt, salted shrimps, salted hair-tail fish, and tonkatsu sauce.
The crispy-on-the-outside, tender-on-the-inside pork cutlet paired perfectly with the cheese. The sides were equally tasty, and I loved that they were refillable. And can we talk about the adorable fried egg on top of the rice? It was the cutest touch! 🍳✨
Overall, we had an amazing dining experience, and I'm already planning my next visit back! 🚇 13-min walk from MTR Central 🕰️ daily 12-3pm, 5-9:30pm 🤑 hkd200+ p.p. 🍋🤳Find me on Instagram & Lemon8...
