Starbucks (Caine Road, Mid-Levels) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

This Starbucks is located on Caine Road in Central. They have a back entrance as well on Elgin Street. Opening hours are 7am to 10pm (weekdays) and 7.30 to 10pm (weekends). Main entrance is on Caine Rd. as is their main seating area and order counter. Downstairs, there is limited seating at the Elgin Street side.

Expected coffee, non-coffee drinks and counter foods on offer. All is rather expected and predictable with coffee and food items, service is friendly. There are better coffee shop options not far from here but location is convenient for those on Caine Road as well as others seeking early morning coffee or a place open later in the evening when other coffee shops...

Starbucks serves the same food and drink at every branch, but to me it is just a place to kill time.

This time I dined at the Caine Road branch and it was lovely and relaxing at this branch.

I tried the garden spinach muffin which was a savoury muffin with young green spinach, broccolis, green beans and cheese.

The muffin was green because of the spinach.

I loved the taste of this muffin because it was truly savoury and cheesy with a peppery kick to it.

It was heated as well which brought out the lovely...

I stoped going to Starbucks because there are so many good coffee cafes in Hong Kong. BUT their new drink, Cold Foam Iced Espresso has brought me back. I first had it in Taipei and was sad when I returned home to HK and realised it wasn’t here yet. I was in Changi airport and had it there too. It has finally made it’s way here. Try it! It’s amazing. It doesn’t travel well (the foam dissipates) so enjoy it...
