Date with myself= Ramen time!! Normally I would go for tonkostsu soup ramen, but I didn't feel super hungry. So I decided to try this place and ordered a simple Shio (salt) soup base ramen. And wow, it totally made my night. The soup base is nice, light and clear: salty enough to eat with the noodles yet well balanced so that you can drink the soup by itself. There's some lil buts of tangerine peel inside the soup, which is a nice surprise. The noodles are the right thickness: thin and on the softer side, which goes well with the delicately salted soup. The pork slices are quite chewy (I didn't really mind), but very porky. Sous vide chicken is tender. The half boiled egg has a nice runny interior and a beautiful orange yolk. I was able to eat the whole bowl without feeling super stuffed. It's one of the best ramen I had in HK, and I will go back to try their shoyu ramen next time. (Although I still prefer tonkotsu Ramen)

Honestly, one of the best ramen in Hong Kong! I had the privilege of trying the original Japan shop, and met the man, the myth, the legend Mr. Kunimoto. I cannot believe there is a shop in Hong Kong house for everyone here to enjoy the amazing flavours from Tokyo! A surreal experience to have one of Tokyo’s best Ramen in the heart of Hong Kong! As a regular customer in the Tokyo shop, the flavours in the Hong Kong shop is exactly the same as the original! The food is 10 out of 10, and one of the best Ramen in Hong Kong at an affordable price! Service and atmosphere was good! 100% must try, this will become one of Hong Kong‘a best and must go to Ramen shops! I definitely will go back, I will bring friends and family to experience this amazing ramen!

It’s definitely been a challenge to find the best and most balanced umami Tsukemen broth but Mengokoro Kunimoto has nailed it 😮‍💨 The ramen is also great but I must say their “Special Noko Tsukemen” is the REAL DEAL 🔥 Only 25 bowls of this Tsukemen is made per day - so you gotta make sure to secure the goods ‼️The chicken and pork slices are also fatty and buttery soft! 🍻 They also have a great Happy Hour Deal: ❗️HKD $58 - One snack and Sapporo Beer ❗️Buy 2 get 1 Sapporo Beer (Limited Time Only) My Recommendations: 🍽️ Special Noko Tsukemen 🍽️ Special Shoyu Ramen 🍽️ Sesame Fried Chicken 🍽️ Fried Chicken 🍽️ Gyoza

Mengokoro Kunimoto has a nice location and is easy to find, food is just mediocre, and hygiene is below average. Visited here on weekdays for dinner, and it's half full and no queue required. You need to order with QR code, and food is ready in a short period of time. Ordered their Shoyu Ramen, it's price is acceptable in this area, however it's quality was just average, the chashu are not seasoned. And not quite happy with their hygiene, as their chefs simply use their barehand to handle everything, including food preparation, cooking and even the cleaning. And the restaurant itself is messy, and you can even find the giant cooking pot behind the customers table. They didn't keep the tradition like a Japanese restaurant, and it's more like a...
