MOA(Moon of Autumn) — Restaurant in Kowloon

Rude staff, hard to get anything ordered and yet they shove a constant reminder or minimum spend or table rules etc. How does one spend the minimum if they can't order? We were told we would get an outdoor seat when we booked, and when we reached (on time by the way) we were told it was given to someone else and we were shoved in a corner below the stairs. They then said you can wait until one outdoors is available, take this or can cancel your order and leave. They weren't even sorry. We were regulars here until we were treated like rubbish. We spent over HKD1400 amongst 2 of us, and yet get treated like they're doing us a favor by serving us. No one took responsibility and we re never going back here again. The space is amazing with good views. But the shisha was Soso, and coal took 30 mins to change everytime. Rude, arrogant, and completely rubbish experience. They were nice when they first opened, and now that they have clients and are busy, they treat it like a turnover profit machine, without any care...

Used to enjoy coming to HYC for shisha and drinks but I had the worst experience ever today. Me and my friend asked to pay for the minimum charge per person because we just wanted to have one drink. The waitress with short hair reacted to this really badly with really nasty (almost hostile?!) attitude. I tried to communicate to her about her attitude in a calm way. I said “you don't have to say things in such an hostile way.. 你都唔洗咁惡既…” she raised her voice and yelled “if you think I'm hostile then Im hostile, if you think Im not hostile then Im not hostile 你覺得我惡我就惡 你覺得我唔惡我就唔惡!” … We decided to just go because we honestly wouldn’t want to be involved in conflicts like this and being treated in such a disrespectful way.

I do really like the atmosphere at hyc but I dont think we are coming back because of this...

We checked out this restaurant and it even had a balcony—the view was amazing! 🎉🥳 Their cocktails were really unique, with unexpected twists like red dates or ginger juice—not something you see every day.
