Food: 1/5 Disappointment would be an understatement to describe the food here. I've heard from friends that this was a restaurant great to chill at, and live up to the standards of the title of being a Korean fried chicken chain in Hong Kong.
First, I'll start off with the waiting time, it took ages. Both the chicken dishes and the drink took around fifteen minutes to prepare, and another major red flag was that the restaurant was completely empty before we enter. We should've known by that time, this restaurant is no longer the restaurant they went to a few years ago.
I'll continue with the food quality, let's start off positively, the "Cheese Snowing Fried Chicken(Boneless)" that costed HKD200 had a crispy crust, and mixed with the sprinkling of the cheese, it was indeed a great mixture. Unfortunately, even this dish isn't without its flaws, the insides of the chicken was rough and dry. Although it was bearable, it was such an letdown, considering how much better this chicken could've been.
Next off, we got the "Nene Half & Half Chicken(Boneless)" for HKD201. We chose the "Cream and Crunchy" and "Spicy & Sweet" flavor. This is one of the most lacking dish, by the time we finish the cream and crunchy side on the top, the ones at the bottom had no more flavoring to them, it was just bland and and rough. For the spicy and sweet side, I'm just going to point out it's not spicy at all, if anything, it only tasted mildly sweet, the sauce added barely any flavor to enhance the chicken.
Finally, the drink I got was the "Mongo Yogurt Smoothie" for HKD48. Side note, I did not spell it wrong, they misspelled the word mango, on a digital menu. They also forgot to capitalize all three of the words. The drink is again, bland, it was practically flavorless, and just added on to how disappointing this experience was.
The food quality was mediocre at best, the wait time was long, the price just doesn't fit the quality of the dining experience.
Service: 2/5 They did their job, they delivered the food, they helped refill the water. The reason why this gets only two stars was the loud chatter of the staff. There were many points at the restaurant where the staff were laughing and chatting louder than the customers as they were scrolling their phones. Did I also mention there is service charge(10% of your bill) despite the lack of service.
Atmosphere: 3/5 There's nothing notable about this restaurant, but considering the overall noise level, you can still chill here. The seats were pretty comfy too, but again, it's pretty barebones, so there's not much that helps this...
Read moreMe and my family recently had an unsatisfactory experience at a restaurant in Hong Kong that I would consider one of the least favorable dining establishments in the area. Despite having dined at numerous restaurants, this visit was particularly disappointing for several reasons. The staff insisted that we settle our bill by 9:20 PM and pressured us to leave by 9:45 PM, even while we were still enjoying our meal. This approach to customer service was not only intrusive but also detracted from the overall dining experience. Given this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. If they intend to clear the dining area by 9:45 PM, it raises questions about why they advertise a closing time of 10:30...
Read moreQuite expensive menu. Stone rice was ok but kinda bland, Ginseng chicken soup with rice was terrible, dry chicken in flavourless water with lots of tiny crushed chicken bones. We were served the wrong drink twice, didn't bother to correct them the second time... Don't know how that happened as we ordered on the app and the waiter served the drinks with the order receipt in her hand, just careless.. The boneless chicken was heaven though, and there is a lot more in 1 portion than i thought. Got the sweet and spicy sauce (mainly sweet) and the crunchy creamy sauce, both perfectly soft yet meaty on the inside and crunchy on the outside with just the right amount of sauce. I would go back just for the...
