The Perfect Gem

This place is phenomenal. The pasta is fresh, delicious, tender, and perfectly cooked. The dishes have the perfect amount to leave you neither too full nor lacking. The bread is delicious, served warm, with the right temperature and size. The wines are exquisite, and the house wine is my recommendation. They have various options of full bottles or half bottles.

The pizza, cannelloni, and lasagna are my recommendations. The desserts, especially the panna cotta, were perfect—just the right amount of sugar, with fresh decorative fruit and a simple decoration that enhances the enjoyment of the dessert. The waiters are knowledgeable about wines and don't pressure you to consume; they are very friendly.

Quite simply the best restaurant in Bogotá. I actually can’t fault this place! First of all the building itself is stunning. The restaurant shares its space with the Medical Club, and the walls of this glorious old house are adorned with paintings, including some masters. Jaime is very welcoming and friendly, and made sure we were looked after. A roaring fire on the way to a beautiful terrace, providing some tranquility in hectic Bogotá. As for the food, spectacular. What an absolute incredible meal and experience. this is our first time at the restaurant and there will certainly be more visits. From a warm greeting at the door and escort to the table everything was fantastic from start to finish. We ordered the beef carpaccio for our starter and it was out of this world. We then enjoyed a fantastic Caesar salad with fresh parmesan and anchovies that were absolutely delicious. And our final meal was a combination of fettuccine alfredo, veal and beef tenderloins. The staff was attentive and took care of all of our needs without even asking.
