The food is delicious—thoughtfully prepared with local ingredients and a deep respect for regional flavors. From traditional Colombian dishes with a gourmet twist to vegetarian-friendly options, every bite reflects the care and creativity of the kitchen. The coffee? As you’d expect from this region, rich and robust. Desserts? Absolutely worth saving room for.
What really sets Orígenes Bedoya apart, though, is the excellent service. The staff is super friendly, genuinely attentive without ever being intrusive. You get the feeling they’re proud of what they offer—and rightfully so. Their recommendations are spot-on, and they’ll happily share stories about the food, the farm, or the region if you ask.

We arrived behind a group of 8 people who were able to order instantly. We? 15 minutes after we arrived we were asked if we had someone take our order. After that, 40 minutes of bringing dishes back and forth from the other table, but we were not even served. If we had not called a waiter, I am sure we would have been waiting for at least 2 hours. Not to mention the bad service of the waiter. A bad reaction to a simple question of "how long will it take more or less?" to be laughed at. After that, they gave us the entrees last. So what are the entrees for if we didn't get them first? Also, the food tasted weird, the cheese in the bowl tasted like it was expired, the mushrooms looked like they were seasoned in dirt and the complimentary was super hard and fried, same with the Caesar salad breads. My jaw ended up hurting from chewing on these hard things. Finally, at checkout, I expressed my displeasure and again he laughed when I told him about the experience. 3/10 nothing more because the food tasted good but the service was abismal. Be warned, if you are not a large group, they will most...
